"Another exciting design innovation is the battery front cap. The eVic cap is longer and more tapered than the competition, increasing the (cough) power appeal, plus it’s smooth! An important feature, as our market research revealed that for a small segment of our Johns the nubs on the ProVari cap elicits latent castration anxiety."

Funny, I suffered no latent castration anxiety with my Provari's nubs.

It was only a small segment of their Johns who had an issue.

There is literally a gaggle of videos on Youtube about making clouds. Please, please and again please, use caution as any extreme activity has risks. I would respectfully suggest that you get good at vaping before you plunge into clouds. Clouds don't equal good vaping. Experience equals good vaping and it is safer and cheaper. Just my two cents. Good luck and have fun!

I mean I'm pretty sure I can learn if I find the right "mentor" like someone said up there, my dilemma is in how much vapor does the evic with protank 2 produce? or should I just go with a k100 and get to learning? that's my question right now before I ask anything else

I would ask what are you attempting to satisfy with "teh big cloudz"? is the amount of vapor you blow out the only factor to an enjoyable vape to you? whAT ABOUT FLAVOR? tHROAT HIT? reliability? do you have to constantly fiddle with it? even on the same device your technique can produce different clouds depending on how you inhale, how long you hold the vapor etc...

I think the head your battery is driving is a bit more importsant to the results...
A battery putting out 10 watts is equal to a battery putting out 10 watts PERIOD.

So arcebelaced, since the $110 vv/vw is winning for you, have you checked out MVP? :)

(Yes, I just made your dilemma just a little bit harder)

Don't have one but I'm seriously considering it. It's a vv/vw mod with built in batteries that I hear last all day. Oh and YouTube is a great source of info. Try pbusardo and Grimm green

ETA also it's less than $50 on ft. :)

tapatalk now Free
well if you throw the MVP how about the VTR??
Or the Zenesis 2?
or the Hammer? :danger:(Btw I think I'd do some awful things for a hammer

Hi everyone I'm new to this whole thing!

So I started with a cheap $30 knockoff ego from a smoke shop, I got bored off sold it and was suggested by a buddy to get a twist from a local vape shop so I went ahead and got it

Now same buddy one day he was in need of money and was tryna sell me his K100 with an RDA (I don't know much about it all I know is he told me it produces massive clouds)

Now I was broke at the time and had to pass on it now I'm bored and ready to move on from this twist so I'm looking for something that will produce bigger and thicker clouds, he said he got an evic with a kanger protank 2 that produces great clouds, someone in the local group is trying to sell one for 100.
He said 80 or 100 with another dct tank (have no idea what that is I'm just new ;/

So should I get that evic, invest on something else like a k100? It's like $40 on fasttech so what do you guys reccomend me? sorry if I made it too long all help will be appreciated!

Hi arcebelaced. I started vaping with a Twist and now am now mostly on mechanical mods like the K100 with an AGA-T RBA or a RDA. Here's my 2 cents on your situation.

I had a good system in the Twist with carto tanks working for me when I moved on to RBA's. I found cartos much better than clearos. They make great vapor, flavor and TH and I still use them when I go out and want a simple, no hassle, small, good performing setup that doesn't leak easily. It also gave me something good to vape while I learned how to setup RBA's. That took me some time to learn.

IMO considering where you are right now with your vaping, you would do better to get into something that's better than what you have, gives you the time to do more research and also gives you time to figure out how to make things work for you. You can get the Evic, but unless you really like all the bells and whistles it offers, you could save yourself the purchase and spend a few bucks on experimenting with cartos on the Twist instead. Stay with around 2 ohm carts and I think you will find a noticeable improvement in clouds compared to the ProTank.

What you put on your power supply is more important to your vape than the power supply, always assuming that it gives you the power required to run it. The performance of a RBA is totally dependent on how you build it and sometimes on how you mod it. For example, I've drilled out the air holes on all my RBA's/RDA's to get what I want from them. The safety of a mechanical mod is totally dependent on what batteries you put in it, how much current you draw from those batts, using a DMM when needed (I use mine a lot) and how you handle the mech mod in general specially with regard to shorts. Yes, IMR batteries are pretty safe, but that's all relative. They can still vent and cause you grief.

Vape safe :thumb:

Pray for us thou Agended One.

ETA: Eddard is so much cooler! He got accused of being a wanna-be intellectual anarchist.

You remember it well, my petite predatory peer. Althought technically I was called a "pseudo-intellectual wannabe anarchist"

I made this as a monument to my moniker. I still wear the label as a badge of honor.

I guess pseudo sounds more intellectual than wanna-be.

The first time I read that I parsed it as 'antichrist'. Sheesh, I think it's getting late.

Still, he must have been pleased

What man would not have been. If I remember correctly, and I generally remember these things correctly, it was over a debate about the dangers of nicotine with some guy. I don't remember his name, but I think he was an Englishman living in Thailand or Singapore or something like that. He was absolutely incensed that I refused to acknowledge that there was any danger greater than caffeine when nicotine was taken without tobacco combustion.

Don't you love it when people get angry at you for refusing to adopt their position?

He also called me this!

Not nearly as catchy as the first one, though.

Now to be fair to <the poster>, I suppose I might have been goading him, just a bit. I remember he had a playboy bunny as his avatar...

if your going to buy a USED evic dont buy it for 100 even with an rba, brand new evic is 105 bucks here, you dont know what happend to that evic if it was dropped or whatnot, or how it has been used or handled. if it was for 50 to 60 i would buy it, 100 bucks no way

To stay on topic - In a second........

First, Glad to see people decided NOT to let this go any deeper.

Second.......Shame on Ed..... j/k........ We all know it is the pleasure we receive from the gear that matters. Whether it is a $25 twist, a $200 Provari or a $1000 limited edition Mod, the same end result is expected. Satisfaction.

Should Op Decide on a Mod an eVic or some other Device, a little shopping experience is in order.
Mech mentioned is a $20 piece + batteries/charger
eVic is at Full Retail with 2 used tanks tossed in to get the deal moving

We have all heard, seen and helped find better deals on gear and savings is always nice. New is also a given bonus.

Op, what most are saying is you can get better Vapor than you now experience on almost any battery device at any price level with a little knowledge and tinkering. Question is Are you willing, capable and ready.:)
