Hi everyone. So far I have only smoked disposables but I have an Ego-T starter kit coming in the mail. It includes:
2x batteries (manual 1100mAh); 2x Atomizers; 7x Cartridges; 1x USB Charger; 1x Adapter and I also placed an order for several sample packs of e-liquid.

I have been reading the tutorials here on the forum and watching how-to videos, and would appreciate some suggestions. Until I get more familiar with things, I want to start off with something low maintenance.

So far I'm thinking I need to get cartomizers? What I don't understand is how do I know which cartomizer since there are many that are compatible with the Ego T? I don't think I need low resistance ones because I prefer to inhale cool, not warm, vapor and I don't care how much vapor is exhaled.

Do all cartomizers come with a mouthpiece or do you have to buy those separately with some of them?

I have also seen the terms 'clearomizer' and 'dual coil' but don't understand all these differences.

Aside from the cartomizers, what other parts would you suggest I order right off the bat for convenience and spares?

Any comments or suggestions are very welcome.

if you want easy, why not start with just trying the carts that come with the ego-T? You can pull the bottom caps off and fill directly with your juice bottle if you don't want to mess with a syringe. I still use mine, even though I am experimenting with different cartomizers also.

I am having good luck with the Vision Ego Clearomizer, which is also very easy to fill and clean. I don't want a second job maintaining my stuff. You just pull off the mouthpiece and squirt the juice down the side (avoiding the center tube).

I like you am new to the vaping world one month 4 days. I currently have a eGo-t 1100 battery and I have found several things that work great for a all day vape. My go to is a smoktech lr dual coil mega cardo, easly lasts 10 -12 hrs great vapor throat hit flavor. In the evening I pull out a smoktech lr atty and drip a different juice. Most recently I purchased a mini sub tank with a boge 2.0 cardo and it is quickly becoming my fav. There is sooooo many choices out there some good others just so so. When I need info I either hit up ecf or phil besardio on you tube for great honest reviews. Hope this helps you.

Ok so the 'cart' is essentially the mouthpiece that holds the e-liquid correct? I didn't realize they had bottom caps? The ones I have seen were one solid piece with a little hole that would require using a syringe.

So then I would need to clean the atomizer part right?

If you use cartomizers, you clean them instead, so what are the benefits? You are still having to clean a part.

EEEK overload. Can you explain why you chose the dual coil mega cardo? Why would you use an atty and drip at other times? I have no idea what a sub tank is! And why would you now choose a boge 2.0 cardo?

Thanks

if you get the boge carto or the smoktech mega you can simply drip the juice right into the filler no need for a syringe. they should last at least a month or longer. They are simple and if you want you can boil them out and clean them. for the money I just get new you can get a five pack of the mega cardos for 15.00 -18.00 dollars and have all your juices loaded and ready to go. And no they are one piece the only extra part is a drip tip that you remove to add juice. check out some vids on you tube and thet can show you step by step

Yes, the carts are the mouthpiece and hold the liquid.

I rarely clean the atomizers, only if I am doing a radical flavor change (if you put menthol in an atomizer, the next flavor you use is going to taste like menthol! So I keep one just for menthol) or if it starts to get a burnt taste. I just put them in really hot water and let them soak overnight, then let them dry.

I am actually trying the cartomizers (the one i am using is actually called a Clearomizer, not sure if that is just a marketing thing) one to see if the vapor is better for me, and also because I seem to get leaks from the ego carts sometimes which is annoying. Looking for a good, no leak solution that I don't have to refill often.

You want simple and easy at six bucks a tank, pick up some vision ego stardust tanks. Holds 2 mill of juice easy to fill, no leeks, and easy to change. Battery and tank nothing else to mess with. Easy to clean no filler. I cant say enuff good things about these tanks.

So how do you clean them?

I have read several threads on the stardust it sounds very nice. My hold back is the price. Here is how I do things maybe not the most cost effective but it works for me. I have about 10 smoktech dual coil lr cartos, out of the 10 I keep 5 or 6 filled with my favorites and I use these for my all day vaping at work. I will take 2 or 3 so I can change up throughout the day. Next I have 5 or 6 atomizers lr (low resistance) I use these in the evening or any time I want to try a new juice or want to vape something different but I dont want a big cartomizer full of the juice. I also have a few boge 510 size 2.0 ohm cartomizers and these are for my tank system that I bought from mom and pop vapor shop. These all work very well for me, I am new to this vaping thing but I love it and if I love something I just dive in head first. I like trying different things to see what works for me which is why I just ordered a mini provari mod. You need to belly up to the table place your order for a couple different items and see what works for you. I wish you good luck. Josh

I like the clearomizers because they are extremely easy to fill (pop off the mouthpiece and squirt in the juice) and extremely easy to clean. Plus they have no fiberfill. I like not having to clean fiberfill.

So far I have had good luck with them, but haven't had them long enough to know how long they will last. If they last long enough (some say they last a month or more), it isn't much of an expense for $5.

Thank you for the info. This made me think of another question actually. If I want to take a couple with me (say throw them in my purse) do I have to worry about them leaking out the mouthpiece?

Next I have 5 or 6 atomizers lr (low resistance) I use these in the evening or any time I want to try a new juice or want to vape something different but I dont want a big cartomizer full of the juice.

How do you do this exactly? I'd like to try different flavors without filling up a whole cartomizer.

Actually I think this is what I'm going to try first as they do seem rather user-friendly.
Thanks
