So im fairly new to vaping and looking to get more into it. I currently smoke maybe 1-2 cigs a day but working on cutting it out all together. First bought a vision spinner with Evod bcc tank, and then was told buy a local shop that a stingray mod/kraken rba was good so I bought that. Now I realize I def. should have waited on the mechanical since im new to this. I have a itaste vv v3.0 on the way also and looking for a somewhat smaller tank that's flush to sit on it?

Im a outdoors type of guy, love fishing, fourwheeling, snowmobiling. What are good things to use to take with me while doing this? Stuff that won't leak/break/die fastly, but also that are somewhat compact since not a whole lot of room doing that stuff to put things? Any help is appreciated

Hi Kluver - welcome aboard. Not sure if you are just asking about toppers or about hardware.
The MPv2 is a very popular device that has variable wattage and is easy to use. Small, compact, and long lasting battery. Its a box shape.
I think its fair to say its hugely popular with ECFers. This link will give you an idea:
Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 Starter Kit - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

Could be good for trips away like you mention.

There is an iTaste vv v3 owners thread here if you want to read more about the iTaste you have. Some people use Evods as toppers with the itaste.

And yeah - rebuildables are fiddly and have their own safety precautions. If you have time and the right stuff they can be fun to tinker with when you feel like you want to.

Both the iTaste VV v3 and the MVP 2 are good buys. I wouldn't dunk them, or almost any other PV in water. There are a couple of supposedly waterproof PV's, but they're pricey. Your best bet is to bring one you won't mind breaking. Get a couple of cheap eGos for that. If you're going to be outdoors for a couple of days, the MVP will last one one charge for those couple of days.

For toppers, I love cartotanks for my two hour commute. They haven't leaked on me, and cartos last a long time in a tank. When they start to die, it's a long death so you've got plenty of warning to change out the carto. I haven t been stuck without a topper since I started using them. IBTanked has great quality tanks for reasonable pricing. They also come shipped in plastic bottles with screw on caps. Those bottles make a great place to store a filled and ready to go emergency carto tank without a drip tip. The cap keeps out dirt and on the off chance the carto leaks the container keeps leaks contained.

Hey Kiwi, happy to be here. I guess im asking about it all really. Tanks that won't break or a decent case that will help keep stuff safe. I did look into the MVP and am actually thinking about it. Wonder if people have had experience with them getting bounced around all crazy and still working correctly? MBV is where I ordered my itaste from actually :)

I have checked out that thread already and I was kind of looking for people's pictures with their tanks on them. Im not a huge fan of the Evod tank I do have and was wanting to try something new. I seen people use the pro tank 2 mini and thinking about giving that a shot.

My biggest thing with the rebuildable is I have no idea how to rebuild and/or when it's actually time for a rebuild. I feel like it would be a lot more work to rebuild them than it is just to change out a coil with a couple twists.

I'm thinking box mod style: VTR or REO.

The kraken is a genesis type rebuildable.
Nowadays the big thing is the kayfun types which are bottom coil rebuildables where you can just use cotton; much easier for a first time vaper to put together without having to deal with steel mesh wicking.

I would not have started with an RBA either they are way too hard to get down. once you do get it down later on down the road it is far superior than anything else. Just get something that's easy to get your foot in the door and then move on to other things. I have a vv3 and I love it. I used a carto tank on it for a long time and it was one of the more durable that I had, granted it did not look good. YouTube has a bunch of good videos to teach you how to make coils. Read up on battery safety as well.

Well im not planning on jumping in the water or anything with them Tinkie, lol but then again that depends on alcohol content I suppose. I will check out IBtanked tho, ty.

I couldn't see bring my mech out fourwheeling/snowmobiling with me unless I had somewhere besides a pocket to store it. I think it would just protrude too much and feel awkward sitting in my pocket.

Will check them out edyle, ty.

I seen that the call the Kraken a genesis, but honestly not even sure what that means. With a Kayfun all you replace is a little bit of cotton??

If I would have been doing more online research before I bought it, I wouldn't of bought it either. But I took the advice of my local shop, and well, now im stuck with it. Lol. What makes the vv3 look better?

There's a whole forum section on RBAs. They do take longer than just changing out a coil, although there are some now that are easier. The thing with them is that the coils have to be stable, which means multi-metering to check. And a bunch of other little things. Great taste when they are built right. The sort of thing to read up on and do when you have a coupe of hours to spare and can sit and tinker for as long as you need to. Then after a while you get quicker. I don't build mine so much these days - been too busy.

Haven't bought an MVP2 yet - I have a bunch of pvs already. From what I read from users they are pretty rugged. The thing with tanks is that people get their preferences. I think its a matter of trying a few and seeing what you like best.

I just use a big ego carry case for vape stuff if I am taking more than a pv with me.

The Mini Protank was one of the most hassle free clearos I've owned, but the glass breaks easily. The Aspire BDC ETS is a bit tougher with a metal sleeve around the glass.

sorry if this isnt where to post this but i have a kraken (clone) on a king mod (clone) just got aerotank (not a clone i hope cause of what i paid for it) thats beside the question. do all krakens by hcigar leak?

Yes, as do all genisis style tanks, which is what a Kracken is. They need to be stored upright to prevent leaking.

around the glass. if that helps not at the bottom or the mouthpeice. its like the o rings are to small. i have thought of replaceing them but dont know if i should. ive just put it a way and been using my aerotank. do all rbas leak? i like the aerotank but not a lot of vapor but it maybe the juice im using. wont buy from walk-in store no more, online beats price and customer support. i store upright it still leaks overnight it can go from full to empty.

Kiwi, I'll def. read up on the rebuilding of RBA's a lot more when I feel I have a better understanding of things. Probably watch youtube all day. Lol. Not sure how well a case would work for my outdoor needs. Im thinking a MVP or something similar would work well since usually im out all day.

My kraken def. leaks in my pocket which is why it will not be going on trips. Once I get the vv3, the mech will just be a at home thing.
