My mechs are at home things too. I think the MVP2 is a good buy. Been looking at it myself, and the iTaste VTR - which uses removable batteries but then not as powerful as the MVP2. Its built like a tank tho. For trips away a long lasting battery is a good thing to have. And a back up pv - even just a small one. Just in case. :)

Just a quick question, because I have been researching both the MVP 2.0 and the VTR. I think the MVP maxes out at 3A. The VTR has been upped by innokin to 5A.

I'm not sure, but if someone could shed some light that would be great. I'm looking to invest in one of the two units for work. The ego just isn't cutting it anymore.

Thanks in advance

I haven't looked at the amp limits actually. By "more power" I meant length of battery life - the MVP2 having more mah than the replaceable batteries I use which are 2000 mah. MVP2 has 2600 mah. I'll have to look at the amps- but the weight of the VTR seems too heavy for me.

Edit: Just had a look at the MVP2 user manual, it says Maximum Current Output: 3 Amperage. Haven't seen the VTR specs.

Thanks for that edyle, that helps some with the genesis vs kayfun type. I meant what clearo on the vv3 makes it look good?

Tinkie, you went from 2 box shapes too a tube shape. Not to mention a lot more $$. Lol. What was deciding factor on that?

Lust. Just lust for a Provari. I have pretty small hands as well, and while the MVP wasn't uncomfortable, the Provari feels a lot better in them then the MVP did. I still love my MVP's, and I'd still recommend them to anyone.

In terms of what looks good on a vv3 I would be the wrong person to answer!! But I'm thinking that anything the size of miniprotank, evod, standard ce4 ce5 etc clearos are that size: 14 millimeter diameter.

I'd say just learn to use the mech. Mechs will outlast anything else because theres no circuitry to go bad.

The kraken isn't a good beginner topper, and if you like being outdoors, the fact that it'll leak in any other position but vertical is problematic. I'd get a cheap single coil dripper to start with. Durable, very few parts and a good platform to learn on. Just use your othe devices while you get comfortable with the mech, once you are, they can serve as backups.

I like models that use the 18650 IMR batteries. The batteries are inexpensive and no batteriy lasts forever so the machine life span is longer. There is a single 18650 charger that has the proper charging rates at dx for $5. You can buy a couple brand name imr's and a pack of off brands and be set for a long time. JMHO
