Welcome!

Hey Kiwi, happy to be here. I guess im asking about it all really. tanks that won't break or a decent case that will help keep stuff safe. I did look into the MVP and am actually thinking about it. Wonder if people have had experience with them getting bounced around all crazy and still working correctly? MBV is where I ordered my itaste from actually :)

I have an MPV that I use with all the Protanks and I love it. But keep in mind it's heavy compared to both the Vision Spinner and the iTaste vv v3. It's fallen from the couch onto a carpeted floor with no damage to it or the Protank Mini which is glass. If I had dropped it onto concrete or pavement I most likely would have broke the glass tank -- though the MVP probably would have been okay. I seems to be very well constructed and sturdy.

As far as your Stingray and Kraken -- either return or set them aside for now. Find out how well the devices you have work for you before investing $$ in the accessories needed to rebuild coils. I would invest in multiple tanks so you can vape multiple flavors before getting into rebuildables. The only exception to this would be if you are a dripper.

Well im not planning on jumping in the water or anything with them Tinkie, lol but then again that depends on alcohol content I suppose. I will check out IBtanked tho, ty.

I couldn't see bring my mech out fourwheeling/snowmobiling with me unless I had somewhere besides a pocket to store it. I think it would just protrude too much and feel awkward sitting in my pocket.

Will check them out edyle, ty.

I seen that the call the Kraken a genesis, but honestly not even sure what that means. With a Kayfun all you replace is a little bit of cotton??
Genesis type

Genesis type topcoil system: vertical steel mesh wick; you have to properly oxidize the mesh so that your coil doesn't short out on the mesh.

Kayfun type:

Bottom coil; liquid drifts downward to the coil, so unlikely that your coil/wick will go dry; can just use cotton.

Yup so with the kayfun you just dryburn the coil and put new cotton; one coil could last weeks maybe months.

If I would have been doing more online research before I bought it, I wouldn't of bought it either. But I took the advice of my local shop, and well, now im stuck with it. Lol. What makes the vv3 look better?

the itaste vv v3 is a small pen shaped version of the mvp2.
regulated power passthrough battery; cheap for those for whom even the mvp2 is too much.

I have the iTaste vv v3 and i love it ! I use it with my Iclear16 , Aerotank and the Nautilus.
I have recently brought the IGO-L atomizer and it doesn't fit in the vv3 connection . the atomizer connection is too short for the iTaste v3.
I hope you wont have that problem I have a better vv mod and a mechanical mod on the way and i will check perhaps i got a defective atomizer.

Any help is appreciated

One simple piece of advice. Stay away from the shop that told you to buy the stingray / kraken. I'm guessing that you had all the signs they should've picked up on that identifies you as new to vaping. And the fact that sold you a mech mod / RBA tells me they're only after the money...be damned the consequences

Just my 2 cents

My girlfriend loves her itaste vv and it lasts her four days on a charge. She has it topped with a kanger pro tank 2 mini. Coils last her about two weeks each. I have borrowed hers on many occasions and threw it on a lanyard to keep it out of my pocket as getting on and off motorcycles/atvs will surely break it over time. My sigelei legend and iclear30s is much beefier and can withstand my pocket torture during work. My first rba was a trident clone also and I love it. The itaste vv you ordered should push a single coil at 1.5 ohms enough for you to experiment later when you are ready. (It's inevitable lol)

Correction. Upon research the vv claims 3.5 max amps so you should be able to run a single coil at 1.8 ohms minimum for 2.47 amps and stay within the normal use limits. And definitely buy a volt meter. They run like 20 bucks and will become a daily used tool. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials on multimeters

I will def be staying away from them as what I bought is a clone (didnt even know they had clones then?). And from the prices I've seen on the net, I could have gotten about 4 of them to equal what I paid. Needless to say, I won't be back there.

A guy at work had one, but I didnt know it cause he still smokes cigs like a chimney. Needless to say he barely uses it and offered to sell it. Can't beat $40. I hope it does for you also!

That's great you got a good deal. I'm pleased for you. So there was one right by you - that's funny. I'm checking out websites. :D

Kiwi, the link on the first page is a great place to order from. My last order came in 2 days and that's where my vv3 is coming from.

Ok. I have to factor shipping and such so am looking at some closer vendors too and comparing. Mt Baker Vapor is a good vendor - I've dealt with him lots. May go with him if nothing closer is a good deal.

Ah yes...New Zealand shipping. Not sure how that works, but it shows 2-3 day shipping for like $6 I believe.

He's always been good and worthwhile to buy from. Usually I have bought juice not hardware. I check my local sites for hardware, I've bought stuff from about six different countries now I think.
