I've compared it to how much I would have spent smoking, I've literally saved everything I've ever bought vape related into a spreadsheet and update it whenever I buy something. So far I've saved $4,740 dollars in about 3.3 years and it's not because I didn't buy whatever I wanted.

*edit* Guess I should update my signature

Welcome to the forum. In the Netherlands i spent well over €2500 per year on smoking in the past. Now i make my own juice and coils.

Juice costs me €0.25 per day (10ml flavoured, 3mg nic), other vaping hardware (tanks, mods, batteries, chargers, wire, cotton, tools etc...) less than a euro per day. In rounded figures i went from €2500 to €400 per year. So in the past 3 years i saved more than €6000.

Eventhough i can really use that saved money, my main concern to start vaping was my health though. Much less flew, colds, no more coughing, much more breath. Yes i feel a lot healthier now.

But if I wouldn't make my own juice, vaping would be even more expensive than smoking for me.

from a juice diy-er's point of view:

yes, making your own juice is a lot cheaper than buying commercial ones.

also, you claim you are too busy with work to make your own juice? funny you would say that because mixing your own e-juice would take just a few minutes, and if you make more than 100 ml per batch, you're making juice good for several days at the least.

personally, i mix "test juice" at around 5-10 ml, just to taste it up, and if i like it, next is making anywhere between 30 to 200 ml at a time.

    :vapor:

i thought that mixing DIY was kinda like a long step and lots of progress, turn out it was simple step. well i just started mixing my own juice after lots of suggestions.

indeed, and it need lots of trial and error. it's kinda fun experimenting with essence thought.

Mainly trial in the beginning, finding flavors that suit you. Some error as well, recipes that didn't work out, flavors that i didn't like, eventhough everyone on the internet was very positive about them.

Now i make 4 to 5 100ml batches with different flavors once a month, which takes maybe 30 minutes. Then on a daily basis i mix some of them together, and try to remember what i did, in case a mix works out really well.

Ah, yes, the cardinal DIY rule: KEEP GOOD NOTES. ;) When you make that perfect juice that's better than any other you've ever tasted, you want to be able to make it again.
