So I just registered for the site and I have no idea what I'm doing. I only know of Ecigs from Korea like Dekang, and the terms atomizer and cartomizer, and e-liquid. I saw someone suggested https://www.canvape.com/product-p/ultwistkit.htm but can someone explain to me what all those things are that are listed? All I want is a high quality e-cig that will give me my fill of nicotine, looking for tobacco flavor and mint flavor. I'm looking at using less potent bottles per 2 weeks until I can quit entirely. I have no clue what all this PV or anything is, and I'm not interested in flavors other than the previous mentioned two. I just want something that works and won't break down on me in a few weeks, and I'm willing to spend the cash for them.
I'm a simple guy and I want to keep thing as simple as possible.

Thanks guys!

Oh and I'd like to purchase from within Canada.

Not a bad kit and a fair price in my opinion. Two eGo Twist batteries, 4 clearomizers, and two vivi nova tanks, charger, usb/wall unit, lanyard, and a carrying case should have you up and going quickly.

Next you will need e-liquid. You didn't mention how heavy of a smoker you are. I would suggest getting a couple of bottles with different nicotine strengths in them until you can see how well it satisfies your cravings. Get some with 24mg and some with 18mg. To start out get PG/VG ratio's of 50/50. Figure on 3-5 ml consumption per day and order appropriately the quantity you will need.

Good luck.

How does this look? https://www.canvape.com/product-p/joyegockit.htm

I have no idea what those vivi nova tanks or clearomizers are... Can I ask what the eVic would do, like what changing the voltages and what not would do?

That's a great kit, and a good way to start if you want to try different things, but maybe not for a simple guy like you. Too much stuff.
Most kits come with two batteries and a charger, as does this. Your choice, 650 battery is smaller and has less power, 1000 is bigger with 50% more power. All the Nova, Vision, and Kanger stuff are devices to hold the nic juice. I think this is a better kit for you:

https://www.canvape.com/product-p/joyeego.htm

Easy and quick to add more juice to the tank, good reliable stuff. Choose big or small batteries, a few spare atomizers, and you're good to go for several weeks. Spend the extra money on nic juice.

Good luck,

Clyde

I actually like that kit better. You'll have three extra atomizers (I call them spark plugs), and should be good to go for a month or so.

Don't go with that kit. It comes with atomizer-cartridges which are archaic, old-school and a pain.

The following is a suggestion that I give new people for an ideal setup to get started with:

I made a picture dictionary of the more commonly used juice delivery devices here:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartomizers/343294-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-lol.html#post7562212

_______

An eVic is a mod, or advanced personal vaporizer (APV) which uses replaceable, rechargeable batteries. The eGo Twist or Spinner batteries are essentially batteries themselves. They have an expected lifetime of about 250 charges, then performance will drop. So the advantage of using a mod is, being able to change out the batteries when the charge drops and replacing them with freshly charged batteries. The rechargeable batteries used in these have an expected lifetime of 1 year or more. These devices generally are quite larger and heavier than a eGo battery.

The eVic offers variable voltage, the same as the eGo Twists or Spinners. You are able to adjust the power to the juice delivery device to fine tune the heat applied for each individual flavor you use. For example, a fruit flavor may taste best at 3.5 volts. A coffee or tobacco flavor may test best at 4.5 volts. Or a cinnamon flavor will be best at 5.6 volts. Having variable voltage allows one to improve their vaping experience.

The eVic also has variable wattage, which is similar but different from variable voltage. VW also allows you to change between juice delivery devices that may have different resistances (ohm rating) and the processor continues to provide the same power as you were using with the previous delivery device. This can be turned on or off.

Looks like I'll go with the original kit I posted, I wouldn't like to switch out atomizers and all that, just replace the clearomizers and keep it stupid simple.

Also, it looks like I'm going to have to request a PM of a list of retailers who sell eliquids with nicotine when I become authorized to post in other forums.

Thank you guys for all your help, I've learned greatly over the last hour and I'm pretty much ready to start 'vaping.' lol

Stinky Canuck and Jugheads are both top reviewed brands as well. Check out VaporChase, therealcmac and FunkyVapes on Youtube, they have some great video reviews on both kit and juices. While you're at it, check out https://www.canvape.com/product-p/starkit.htm

That kit may be more suitable for a beginner vape. It's less than half the price, and without a bunch of complicated parts that you may not even use. I myself have been toying with the idea of buying either kit and weighing my options. The big one for me is that the kit I posted is not a variable voltage battery (eGo-C Vs Twist). It does however come with 3 10ml sample juices, which may not contain nic, but have a variety of flavours. May not be exactly what you're looking for, however you can mix any of the other nic juices with the flavours to get your hit. You may also want to check out other DIY suppliers and add nic straight to the no nic juices.

If you're looking for a decent tobacco flavour, both RY4 and 555 are pretty popular.

Hope this helps, cheers!
