Hello all, just saying hi! I joined because I'm trying my hand at DIY and after watching hundreds of YouTube vids on DIY E-juice, I realized that I'd never "get there" without a little input from some serious DIYers. 99% of the vids I found on YouTube involved self proclaimed "experts" who never made mention of MSDS info and while they talked about "safety" seldom took even the most basic of precautions. Gloves, glasses, ect.... I hope to meet a few like minded people that are dedicated to safety and quality. I've enjoyed reading a variety of posts here and look forward to improving my skills as well as helping others.

Good luck with your DIY experience. Keep in mind that nicotine is a toxin and can easily harm you if it comes into contact with your skin, as it's readily absorbed into the blood stream through skin. As far as MSDSs go, you can probably find what you need with a quick google search. You'd be surprised what you can find on the internet, lol. PG and VG are actually very very safe. I started working with industrial grade PG about 2 years ago with aircraft deicing, so I did a little research on my own. For PG to pose a significant risk to your health, you'd almost have to take it in via IV. You should knock out your required posts and ask a few questions in the DIY forum and see what they can tell you, though.

Thanks for that advice! I found MSDS on PG/VG last week via google. I've ordered some supplies and now I'm just waiting for the USPS!
Be very careful about the flavors you use and make sure they don't contain any diacetyl or anything that can break down to diacetyl with heat. That stuff can be nasty when you inhale it.
