Hi everybody.
Reletively new to this vaping lark. Gave up my pipe reluctantly on May 16 last year 2016. Started vaping with a crap Chinese pipe that looked the biz but didn't work. Bought a vape pen then progressed to a Smok Guardian 3 pipe mod. Love it. On my 3rd one already cuz they don't like being dropped. Recently bought a Smok Alien 220. Different but so far OK. Having trouble setting it up though and it seems to eat coils at the mo. Still got the Guardian for back up with plenty of coils. Prefer vaping to smoking because it is not only cleaner but far more practical! Looking forward to some interesting chats.

I like RDA's, best flavor there is with vape equipment.

Hi Tonee. Yes, those are the coils on my guardian, 0.3 ohms.

Can I set the Alien up to match the guardian do you think with 0.25 ohm coils?

There a reason you're running these coils in TC mode?

The guardian is set currently at 41w, temp at 240f using micro- CLP2 coils.

As far as I am aware you don't run those coils in TC mode.

We seem to have got our wires crossed here I have no problem with the guardian. I want to get the Alien running as satisfyingly as the Guardian.

I believe you are right, sorry about that.
Did you get the Alien kit or just the mod? I use several different tanks with mine(Fireluke Sextuple on Norm@88w, TFV8 CB Q4 .15 on Norm@68w TFV12 CBK X4 .15 on Norm at 100w.
