U just need to get 2x AA box for a single 14500. Unless u r going for higher voltage which u'll need a voltage regulatorand spme funky stuff. U don't even need extra wire just use those that came with the box is enuff.

Actually making the box mod is relatively easy if you had the connector for a 510 type atomiser. However the challenge I overcame is the build of the connector itself. I had to find a way to build the connector from scratch with nothing more that some nuts, 2mm round head screw some spruce, epoxy and a spring. If you look at the original post you would know what I mean. It is so difficult to get a 510 connector short of ordering one on line. Actually there are some bros who offered to order some for me but it would take a while. So while waiting I decided to build one myself.

sorry, off topic abit. i just got my pv and im vaping a 80/20 watermelon. however, for the past few vapes, i got a burnt smell and a scratchy feeling. using the familiar VET at 3-3.2V. something i forgot to do?
erm... u forgot to keep the cartomizer moist? (or if using tank, ur wick is not doing its job properly)
im using tank. i just got started with this new set. saw videos that i need to drip a drip of juice onto the sharp needle thingy? does it help?
well if it doesn't wick properly in the first place, dripping juice wouldn't help much. try blowing hard into the atty from cartridge side while using a paper towel or something to hold on to ther other end. this is to clear some gunk that might stuck ard ur atty/coil causing this problem.

I'm a newbie to this forum and very interested in getting a PV.
I smoked for 20 years about a pack a day and quit cold turkey on Feb 27 this year because of my newborn daughter. However, the temptation of going back to analog cigs are still strong even after having quit for 8 months. I therefore wanted to see if vaping can help me resist smoking again.
I did try to get some Safe Cigs from the US but it got stopped at HSA - to say I was disappointed is a huge understatement as I was waiting almost a month for them.
I was about to give up but was searching online for more info (wanted to buy from Australia and have someone bring them back for me) but I stumbled on this forum.
I am starting to get excited about the possibility of vaping again as I had no idea there is a community of vapers here in Singapore!
I am really interested in getting a kit and spent the whole day (literally) reading the threads and the whole 51 pages of this newbies Q&A thread so I wouldn't ask stupid questions and piss anyone off...haha.
From what I gather, I had 'my eyes open' and visited the few links in the signatures as suggested by the veterans on this forum (r3kka, Trinitrophenol, sotong, Yunn85...etc).
So is it as simple as ordering directly from those links? There will be no problem getting a kit and juices? What's the diff between the 2 main sites (SGxxxxxx.com and vapersxxx.net) or ordering from either is ok? Or is there another 'process' that I have to go through? Everyone seems to be pointing to SGxxxxxx.com.

Sorry for so many questions (and the long posts) but even after reading the whole day, I can't seem to find the above answers - everyone who asked about getting a kit always seemed to get a PM from someone!

MG you can try go with 18mg 1st, then tone down slowly. Anything to get you off analogs 1st. In my case, I toned down really fast.
30cc of juice lasts 1 month for me. I'm at 24mg. Take 5sec drags then inhale and hold ur breath for 3secs then exhale thru ur nose. U shouldn't see any vapor coming out. This is one way to get the max out of whatever u're vaping.

lifespan of the battery u mean? that would roughly be ard 300 charges. for cartos, would be about 2-3weeks. mine is lasting for a month now but cuz i do regular maintenance. but for the super tanker, as long as u dun break the tube, they last almost forever. but if u do, just turn it into a syringe mod lo. lol. shipping products from there basically.... u dun choose the shipping method lor. and ya carto is still considered illegal.
