The Vamo is the best deal out there IMO It has all of the same function of a Provari and more. Very sturdy and dependable. There really is no PV out there with better capability than the Vamo that I am aware of. It has a 5 amp limit where the Provari has a 3amp limit. So, you either get a Vamo for $27.00 shipped from fasttech or, pay $150 for a Provari is the only real question that I see.

These are my opinions only and I am sure that others will have many differing opinions.

Good luck to you!

Screen is opposite side of power on switch.

I have 13 mods.....The Provari vapes differently and better then other VV/VW mods.

It doesn't use 33 Hz PWM (pulse width modulation)....So its not DOUBLING the selected voltage and shutting it off a few times every second. Its a smoother more consistent vape.

People that don't own one have no idea. I didn't think it would vape any differently but the delivery of vapor is smoother and far less rattlesnake noise.

A ProVari mini with extension cap is more then $150 also. Its over $200. You can get a blemished one I think for less, but just the extension cap is over $20

as far as nothing having more than the VAMO, I'd say the eVic has a few more bells and whistles going for it, but more technology doesn't always make something better... some people get their most satisfying vape from a mechanical, which is about as low tech as it gets.

as far as bang for the buck, it's really hard to beat a $30 VAMO. That's the direction I took and have been really happy with it.

If you want to get "Hard Core" RBAs, really learn about ohms law and build out your own "prefect vape" go with a mechanical, otherwise VAMO/ProVari/zMax etc all pretty much function the same. The only big difference between them is arguably the build quality. I've never owned or used a ProVari, but it's generally considered the most solidly built of the VVs out there, especially important if you want it to survive being dropped a lot.

My next step after the VAMO was a Provari, then after that I got my first mechanical mod, then after that I traded my Provari for my second mechanical mod...

So my vote is also: Mech + an RBA, and to be a bit more specific.. Sigelei#8 + AGA-T2 + IGO-L
Yes!
Any regrets?
Mechanized mischief!

None whatsoever. The Provari is a very durable device and the 800hz pwm makes for very smooth vapes.. however I HATED the menu system and at $160 minimum they are overpriced.

I traded it for my EA MOD and would do it again in a heartbeat.
