Hey rusalka Check with Quigsworth, I believe he uses this (ceramic) wick. I was on a thread a few weeks ago (or it may have been a few days ago ) that was talking about the Nextel 'wicking'; IIRC, you have to burn some 'sizing' off of this with a torch. I looked around for that thread/post but couldn't find it.

McMaster-Carr has a "silica rope gasket" that people have used for wicks - McMaster-Carr
