I know I shouldn't have but I did try my kick with a black AW 2200 Mah protected bat and it does work but for even less time then the IMR's do. (I blow through an 18650 in 1.5-2.5 hours depending on the batt 1600 AW 1.5 hours 2000 AW IMR 2 hours 2250 Mah Callies Kustomz Panasonic IMR in 2.5 hours) I use up the 2200 Protected AW in about 30 minutes and basically stops working when the battery gets to 3.8v the IMR's I can get down to 3.6 is I am really patient and 3.5 once when it was the only battery I had.
I'm wondering how the resistance of the atty/carto is related to battery life using The Kick? Anyone care to school me?
I'm looking to buy a Kick but I must say that these battery run times are making me think twice! I get 6-8 hours (3 mls) on a 18490 with a 3.0Ω boge at 4.5v in a different VV mod. How many hours can I expect using a Kicked 18490?
I can tell my expierence. I have used 2 ohm cartos 3 ohm cartos and my Ody has had coils from 2.1 all the way to 3.4 I have also used a 1.5 ohm atty and a 2.8 and my run times are roughly the same no matter what OHM range I use.
I've been getting better runtimes lately than I was at first. Not sure why, maybe I've just been keeping my connections cleaner so I can drain the batteries lower before cutoff, I haven't been metering them after use so I don't know
My current times in my GGTS with an 18500 is 5-6 hours (the ones Drew sells and AW ones, I still can't get it to work with my AV-branded battery for some reason), 8-12 hours with my 18650s. In terms of juice vaped that's about 1.5-2ml and 3-4ml, respectively

That's what I am talking about KJ!!!! Listing in mls. Time is relative. On Drews Purple batts in the P+ I can drain a VPX tank then need a batt change. Using a calis Custom 18650 in the ghetto Bolt I can get about 2.5 VPX tank fulls. One other variable I should mention is that I am at around 8.4 - 8.7 watts using 2.7 - 2.9 ohm cartos. Anyway I do love my kicks and they have given new life to my tube MODs!!!! Now if we could only place an order for a few more at our favorite vaping Supplier ------- Drew knock knock Drew, it is us the Darwin clan and we are looking to Kick it

AW 2000 MAH IMR 2 hours = 1.375 ml

All of these times are if I vape till it starts cutting off except the extended times. Typically an extra .5 hour or .34375 ml if I vape it till the battery will no longer work at all. I normally start getting battery stutter once the battery falls below 3..69v (unloaded according to my multimeter)

Wow fright88 that seems light on the batt life. Are you on the high end of the kick, meaning the 9 - 10 watt range???? I know lower ohm stuff will drain batts fairly quickly for me if using the kick or the Darwin. Seriously, with the calis I am at 2.5 tank fulls so 7 or 8 mls at least. I am in the 10+ml club also and run several PV's but I just changed out the cali on the ghetto Bolt and that thing went from 6am to now. Granted I did hit two Darwins and a P+ throughout the day but I did fill the tank on the Bolt 3 times and it is just over 1/2 full right now. Do you have more than one Kick to compare? I do have two and they are both behaving the same as I have listed. When you dial the Pot up and down on your Kick do you see a noticeable difference in the amount of vapor? Do you have one of those screw on Volt meters to check what the kick is pushing out under load. I know with my two using 2.7 - 2.9 ohm stuff they are banging right around 5.2 volts under load. I tested with second kick when I first got them. Usually the Kick is set to max although I can say when I had it set to 8.6 ish watts my battery life did go up by quite a bit. I have tried Boge cartos both 2.0 and 3 ohm also tried some 2.8 ohm attys from greenhouse one and mostly vape it with my Ody coil built at 2.2-3.4 ohms. I use batts fast though I was averaging about 9-10 hours on my Darwin when I used it exclusivly.
