Well from first contact it looks like 3.6ish is normal as 3.6 unloaded should be about the same as 3.2 under load. That being said I am wondering if the tester (my dad's kick) is either a) slightly more efficient for some reason or b) the safety cutoff isn't working correctly. One thing I will say is my dad's negative spring sits better then mine does. His sits up and down and looks like it is getting a good contact. Mine is sideways so it kinda makes contact at an angle. Maybe that is what is making the difference.

I tried but didnt want to be to forcefull in case the contact broke or something. Brandon said he would take a look at it so I sent it back to him. Hopefully he can find the issue.

Thank you for the reply Drew, just was interested in purchasing other products you offer along with the kick as shipping from multiple vendors to Aus adds up. I could understand not selling to the EU, but the shipping cost from the US and UK to Aus is pretty much the same.

Ok Drew I see that the starter kits are still available. I was good and did not place an order for all the single kicks I WANTED so that others that did not have one would be able to get their first. I figure 6 hours on the site was long enough so I just picked up a starter kit. The purple batts rock and I needed some anyway .
