HI :)
This is so interesting to me, because i found soooo much info on this forum. This is where i found out about the nhaler.com site. Imagine my surprize when the exact same thing i paided over double for was here on Drew's site for half the price. I placed an order ASAP last Friday and i'm sitting on pins and needles waiting for my new e-cig! This is my first order with the flavored carts so i hope i really like them. I'm very new to vaping, but i'm likin it! The only major problem is finding an e-cig you like and is usable for you and within your price range. Drew's site is within my price range! TY DREW

Hey Drew,

Got the order today! Just 2 days to Northern Kentucky! Thanks again for all the extra's... the windowed storage tins are 2 cool.... and double thanks for the sample Rose GC cart... the flavor is dead on rose and now the vanilla-rose lung is on my '2 try' list, just behind the blueberry :) I plan to put the GC cart to the test and I'll post a mini review once I do... I have become accustom to the KR carts (after getting a burnt taste in most of my first batch of carts) and learned to set a cart aside (for refill) as soon as the flavor starts to diminish and when I refill them, I put the caps ends back on and leave it sit for at least a few hours with the atomizer end down. Haven't had a problem since... With that said, I do like the GC carts so far and after reading some of the threads on the subject, I expect it to be a very good performer... Oh, and I really do like the mint-ginseng.. and man, you were right... that is ginseng... really unique!

Thanks again... oh, and the hand written note was a nice touch... your awesome!

My greencig carts just arrived today. All I have is 4 KR 808-1 batteries (2 original VK's and 2 short ones from ecig canada) and I can't get my carts to work on any of them!

If I screw the battery all the on, it won't draw at all, I presume because neither is notched. If I loosen the connection some, I can get it to draw but it is very weak and airy. I thought people were using these 808 batteries with the GC carts. Am I missing something?8-o

If you have the four hole VK it won't work only the two hole KR808 work. Drew has the KR batteries for $16.00 I believe.

Aha... I hadn't considered that.

(Begin mini-rant: It's bad enough that ecig batteries come in a gazillion different sizes, now I have to keep track of hole counts too.... End rant::rolleyes:)

So, looks like I'll be paying Drew another visit. Well, I can always use more 808 batteries; just had my first one die yesterday.

Thanks much for the info, Peaches. Vape Well And Prosper....

I'm using long 2 hole KR batts with the GC carts and they work great. Do your long KR batts have 4 holes also? Perhaps a small drop of epoxy in 2 of the holes would get 'em to draw like they should.

I think maybe I'm having a terminology problem. I always thought that 2-hole vs 4-hole referred to the little slots you could see around the circumference of the cig right where the cart and the battery meet when the cart is screwed in. Are you instead referring to the tiny little holes on the metal top of the battery right below the threads? If so, both of my types have 4 tiny holes, which is why neither kind works? One of them is a Vapor King from Vapor4Life.

Thanks for your help and patience.

Yup, it's the holes in the batteries. A lot of people have the older ones with 4 holes like you have, so let us know if plugging 2 of them with epoxy or a little super glue does the trick.

Zag, your correct they are 4 hole...I dont really reccomend using those carts on those batteries for pretty obvious reasons...However many of my customers use the 2 holes with great success...I heard;)

I know a great reason not to use them; they don't work!:D I guess I just don't understand the physics involved here, I would think that the 4 holes would increase the air flow, but its just the opposite, they plug it up completely for me.

Anyway, I just ordered a couple of batteries from you this afternoon, so I'll be in good shape soon. BTW, thanks for the gift tin with my cart order, its very nice!

In the meantime, I'll try the idea of crazy gluing a couple of the holes like suggested. Thanks for the idea, Lotus!

One last question: do you think it helps to keep these carts in refrigerator since they aren't sealed up much once you break open the packaging?

Crazy? ME? Is it really that obvious? Please don't let 'em take me back to that place

Let us know if the glue works. Make sure you unscrew 'em a bit to allow enough air in. Gotta find the sweet spot.

Never heard of keeping carts in the fridge, though some people with large stocks of liquid will keep spare, unopened bottles in there. If anything, the dry air of the fridge might dry the carts out faster. Let us know if you can tell any difference.

I haven't had any problems just leaving them in the box.

I keep all my carts in a fridge with an open bottle of distilled water in there also...I keep the temp around 55 or so ...That is just because I have so many though...The ones I am smoking I leave out and i havent had any problems...I also had ones that sat in my desk drawer for over a month and they were OK...I left some in my car once and they were dry as a bone when I finished Golfing...Of course that was in Hilton Head and it was about 80 outside and around 120 in the car....

Happened to me too!

If your having airflow problems we can figure that out for ya.

1.Make sure your battery is fully charged
2. Look at the battery end where the threads are. Inside it looks like a screw. Turn the screw just a hair to line up with two of the holes in the battery. More than likely you will turn it counter-clockwise. JUST A HAIR OR YOU LL BREAK A WIRE!
3. Make sure that the airflow to the holes are clean.

I am experimenting with a few carts by keeping them in the fridge. I realize they need more humidity than the fridge supplies, but I needed to try it......They've been in there for two weeks...I expect a month should supply me with some sort of answer, although I would prefer just to find a cool, dark place to store them since it would be a lot more convenient.

I can attest to the fact that refurbishing the battery in the method explained by Danny does work.

A failing VK battery is now alive and well.
