The warranty is one year on the battery and the device is 2 years, either way if liquid causes damage Evolv will repair and or replace your unit free of charge....They have said they will replace the battery for $25. Thanks
Drew

That's some pretty bangin' customer service... Thx Drew!

Any idea what kind of battery is in it?

going to save an extra buck and get a 510-510 adapter... I hear getting juice into the Darwin's atty connector can be baaaaad news

Actually I have noticed that where you screw the atty in, there is a little round thing that could almost be considered a "drip cup" for lack of a better way to describe it. As long as you don't massively overdrip, you won't have any liquid get on the unit really. It seems to keep the liquid from running off of the arm which is very nice. I am still getting used to dripping without a clear drip tip so I flood it every once in a while but all you have to do is take the atty out and give it a quick wipe. I have not had any problems with liquid running down the unit, even when I lay it down :)

As far as the crossthreading, I believe this had been widely overly worried about. Yes, brass tends to be a softer material than some but I don't recall anyone actually cross threading theirs. I have owned a Darwin for months and it has never been an issue. Some feel more secure with a 510-510 adapter in place, but it certainly isn't necessary unless using a tank, of course :)

I got the 510/510 adapter and use it on my Darwin. First I got it to extend the VPX tank up a little higher. Have no issues with the flow of current or amount of current. Still a wonderful vapping experience. The fact that keeping the adapter on the unit might side step a cross threading issue is a plus, but not the first reason I choose to use the adapter.

The Darwins are currently sealed......For those that want additional coverage I just got the sealed adapters in and am dropping the price a little as I was able to source them cheaper finally. Thanks
Drew

Pretell where these might be? All I can find are "Unsealed"

Thanks
