There is a 510 passthrough that has an inline battery that requires some charging before it works correctly , BUT once its charged (6 hours) you can unplug it and it will work on its own for a few hours unplugged...But you still have a long wire hanging off it...The draw on these is slightly different than a regular manual battery..You have to puff a little lightre than you would on the normal 510..
I also have KR808/Greencig Passthrough that works on the KR and GC cartomizers as well as a 901 atty....Hope that answers...

Hey Drew,

Confused about pass-thrus. I've been reading threads on ECF and some have a battery and some don't?? huh? What kind is for sale on your site? I have 2 in my shopping cart for hubby & myself, but I'm not sure if it's the "right" one, if you know what I mean...

What kind of PV do you have? I have both of Drew's. The 510 with the inline battery works great when I'm at the computer - which is most of the time - but I like the regular manual batts better than the passthrough unplugged. I only unplug it when I'm not using it.

The kr808 passthrough does not have an inline battery and so it gives you whatever voltage you plug it up to. For my computer's USB that's apparently a lot because it kick like a mule. Keep your atty wet! Works great on a 901 too. :)

510, theres a case for a battery connected to the wire but there is no battery inside. I connected it and trid it out but nothing. The atomizer works perfectly b/c I tried it on a regular battery.

I'm sure Drew will take care of you but in the meantime you need a 10440 battery. I'm sure you can grab one locally and it doesn't hurt to have a spare.

OK, so it's like keeping a battery on a USB charger but being able to connect an atty to it and vape while it's "charging" ie kepeing constantly charge by being connected to the USB port.

So, there is also some other kind that you just connect the atty to and don't need the battery to pass thru? But that isn't the kind Drew carries. I think I got it!

Yes and no. The 510 passthrough requires a battery. The 901, Greencig, Kr808, Mini cig E8 and Minicig E9 do not require a battery. Drew carries all these.

I've read of one for the 510 that doesn't require a battery. It's from puresmoker, I believe and costs around $40.
