I usually vape 18mg or 12mg nic., and as I am getting more dialed in on my device and creating good thick vapor, I lean towards 12mg more and more. Well, yesterday I decided to drop by Dirtcheap and get a couple bottles of juice. They have a USAmix there that I really like, and they also had an energy drink flavor I wanted to try, but it only came 24mg. I went ahead and got it and filled my tank. Man, there is a lot more throat hit with the higher nic. content! It is almost too much, but still enjoyable as long as I don't hit it hard. I have read that here on ECF, but until I tried it for myself, I didn't realize how much difference it actually made. Go figure!

Pre-packaged only?
House Brand?

I never recommend moving up, unless it is needed it times of extreme stress. Can they order different mg. for you?

I have gradually worked down to 9mg. Even that can Hit like a brick in the right setup. For me it was the Ithaka Tank. Now I know I can move even lower and still get a good throat hit.

Also be aware that some liquids by design(flavor combinations) will have much less throat hit at normally Vaped Nic levels.

Yeah, everything they carry is prepackaged. This is not a Vape Shop, it is tobacco and alcohol mainly, but carries juice and some starter kits. They carry a brand called Vaporx, and another called Total Vapors. I am pretty happy with the Total Vapors USAmix, but I am always wanting to try new flavors. The added nic. does limit my vaping a bit, because with the lower levels I may chain 5 or 6 vapes together, but with 24mg, 2 or 3 is about all I have a desire for at one time.

Yeah i've been trying to work my way down from 18-15 now. And I don't get enough throat hit. It might be my vape since I usually use my E-Fire but I don't know. It's like I need to just stay at 18 to feel it lol.

Well, I know that with a higher pg ratio you get more throat hit, so depending on your current ratio, you may be able to increase TH that route. Come to think of it, I usually vape 50/50 pg/vg, but it seems 70/30 is pretty common for prepackaged, so that may also contribute to the harder TH with this juice.

I found that the longer I vape, the more I want flavor and the less I need throat hit and big clouds.

Maybe it's just me.
Nope, it's not just you. At first, I think I was searching for something to simulate smoking, and TH is a big factor in accomplishing this. Now after vaping for a while I find myself looking for a smooth, silky flavorful vape that remains consistent, and the TH isn't a big deal anymore. I like 50/50 at 12mg nic. Seems like my sweet spot.......For now. :)
