Hey, I just ordered an extra liter of nic from Nic River and it comes in a plastic jug so I'll want to decant into glass bottles for freezer storage. It's been a long time since I bought bottles and I don't remember where I got mine (may have been Nude Nic). Can anyone recommend some good bottles for freezer storage?

I think Glass Bottle Outlet has pretty Good Prices and Shipping.
I concur. It's where I purchased all my glass bottles. Good source. Got it from someone on this thread.

It appears most (if not all) people here (including myself) have our nic in freezers for long term storage. And we also keep a working bottle in the fridge. Since nic solution does not freeze, is there any reason why it cannot also be stored in the freezer (albeit it will be thicker)? What am I missing here?

I’m not sure it’s any harder to open my freezer door than my refrigerator door but I believe you’re right in that it likely makes any difference for short term storage.

Now this I can see as a disadvantage for short term freezer storage.

For whatever it may be worth, I take my working 500ml VG NN bottle out of the freezer, let it come to room temperature, mix and return to the freezer. I figure that given how long my 500 lasts, a return to the freezer is warranted. I have done this for probably three years, my bottle has stayed clear, smells and tastes fine. At 18% that is 28 mixes per bottle, give or take a bit. My working bottle is "open" for around a year. I keep it -5 degrees "frozen" bubble wrapped and then in a vac 'n seal bag. I have not decanted to smaller bottles since my first order a ways back in time. For me, the process was not worth my clumsy spillage, oxygen exposure or the trouble.

But, as some may know, I am not scientifically oriented and consider a consistent known error to be my friend. So, as I began, for whatever it may be worth.

... and I didn't think that $8.58 was that bad for 17 Bottles.

If a person just wants 1 Size, like 8oz, and is OK with 1 Colour, like Amber, then they can be had on GBO's e-Bay store for a Tad Less.

(6 Pack) 8 oz. Amber Boston Round with Black Poly Cone Cap 817130020187 | eBay

But I wanted Cobalt Blue. Because it makes the Nicotine Base Taste Better. And Green is Mean. That just goes without say'n.

There are some things that I'll take my 2nd Choice on if I can get them at a Cheaper Price. Nicotine Base Bottles Isn't one of them.

It's Cobalt Blue or I'm Quitting Vaping.

I've had good experiences with the 4oz amber or cobalt blue boston bottles sold on Amazon that come with the phenolic caps. They ship by the dozen, securely packed, and a liter fills 8 bottles with a bit left over.
This search should yield what you're looking for: Amazon.com: boston bottles 4 oz phenolic

I'm about to place an order. I prefer clear, so I can monitor clarity of the nic without opening (it's dark in freezer anyway). Here's what I'll be ordering.https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Clear-B...=1572617085&s=industrial&sr=1-218-spons&psc=1
I'm sure they'll work fine. Tip for filling: practice with PG first. If your funnel seals the opening it'll overflow and waste precious nic, so slide a toothpick between the funnel and the edge of the bottle to create a gap for the the air to escape.

Ive often wondered about this. Seems everyone recommends amber or cobalt blue.
I stored some about 18months ago in a 120ml clear glass bottle which I have somewhere along the line stuck inside a brown paper bag. Its still clear and ive only opened it to smell it (as you do) a couple of times. It smells okay in its cooled down state.
If we are keeping it in a freezer which is closed up to 23hrs 59mins and 45seconds of the day, on a busy day, is the amber and other light shielding colours necessary?
Really the freezer only gets opened here to get the icecream out.

Just curious... But How Much are you planning on doing?

Cause you would need about 16 of those Bottles to do a Litter.
Good point- but yeah, I thought about that. Amazon has 8 oz bottles at about $1.00 each that I'm considering, too. I'll probably get both. But I've already stocked up on Nude's Armor, and just thinking about getting just another 500ml for insurance. 500ml will last me another 5 years, and at the rate I go thru it, 2 oz might be a more convenient size.

I don't think so. The only reason I know of for using colored glass is to prevent uv degredation. A couple of minutes now & then of a freezer light being on it is just spit in the ocean. Can't see it having any effect at all, compared to my almost 2 years at room temp in plastic barely degrading it.

Cobalt blue is pretty, sure but the glass I wanted was insanely expensive for shipping (maybe my location, IDK) I mean it was over 3o bucks.

I have amber and it's just fine with me. Past a certain point I don't CARE how happy my nic is. I am going to be inhaling it from a DARK freezer, not sitting down with it and asking it, "How are you feeling?:"

If it has any sense it would reply "Uncomfortable and scared, YOU are gonna try and EAT me."

But I mean, I guess it depends on where you area and what you are getting. I shall be getting more glass bottles soon-- from Amazon.
