Nic E-Juice in Canada Legality. Smoking/Selling/Giving

Hi All,

I'm wondering what the legality's of nic-E juice here in Canada.

- I assume you are not aloud to sell nic E-juice?
- Can you have nic E-juice on you, legally?
- Can you give a friend E-juice with nic, legally?
- Can you smoke nic E-juice in banned smoking areas, legally? In BC you cannot smoke on the beach etc. what do you do when someone comes up to you and tells you to stop.

Have you ever just started your PV in a restaurant/bar/club/indoors ? Are you legally aloud to? - I assume that the establishment has to let you.

Q - Is vaping illegal in Canada?

A - The short answer is: No. Vaping is 100% legal in Canada, however the sale and trade of nicotine juice is currently "banned" (for lack of a better term). Canada Customs reserves the right to confiscate nicotine e-liquids and e-liquid containing hardware (Such as pre-filled cartomizers and cartridges) so if you order supplies from out of the country, you risk having your juice sent back to the retailer or held for testing.

The risk of this is not as serious as it sounds but is still there, some Canadian vapers have never had a problem and vape nothing but American E-Juice while others have had the unfortunate luck of having multiple shipments confiscated or returned.

You can't be arrested, held, harassed or fined for vaping in any place.


Anyway, I hope that helps all you new vapers out there and properly dis-spells some of the myths in the e-cigarette world. I wish you all the best of luck on your quest to quit smoking and start vaping!

I personally avoid vaping in public simply because people (in my area anyway) refuse to understand what the unit is and treat me as a smoker or crack smoker lol. I do ask the owners of any establishment for his/her approval before vaping in a non-smoking area to avoid any useless confrontations, some reject, others embrace the idea.

I with ya on vaping in public, I keep it real discreet most of the time. In fact I was out playing poker with some people tonight and had my Volt with me. The guys had a lot of questions about it but when I hauled out my Lavatube I'm pretty sure they thought I was a little wacko. Lol

I'm Acadian, white wood city is kinda of an inside joke lol (Bois Blanc). Its somewhere between Bathurst and Tracadie if you can even see those on the map . I do get the wacko look too but again I look like a wacko to start with. Hope you can convert some of your smoker friends to vapers.

Ahh I see woooozzaa, I do know where both of those places are for sure. Oh and I have converted quite a few smokers in my family and whatnot, but the guys there lastnight were all non-smokers (excetp one who quit 5 mths ago). I wish you could have seen the look on their faces when I brought out the LT with a DCT on it. It was like everyone stopped talking, pretty sure the music playing in the backgroud even stopped playing. Most of em had never even seen/heard of E-cigs before and I whipped out this monster. Pretty funny actually.

Though, I tried to sell a 2nd hand 510-T kit (almost given) on kijiji, and they removed my add commenting this is not permitted. Then I tried to test by searching "e-cig" on different advertising sites and it always shows "no result found".

What's wrong?

I went to a Christmas get together and the husband of the hostess is a detective. I pulled my e-cig out to show him and he had never seen one before. He thanked me and said he'd better google it because if he had seen it on the street he would have arrested the person for smoking crack LOL. I'm glad I at least educated someone haha
