After reading post here about nicotene testing for insurance, looked up and read they could detect it any where from 48 hours to 1 month, anyone know of a more precise length of time it can be detected in a blood test? Wondering if an insurance company would test for nicotene when you go to your doctor and ask for a "what is wrong with me? I'm sick" blood test, it did not list nicotene on the results.I had smoked about 48 hours before the test but have thru out life always ommited the smoking fact for insurance charging purposes. Now vaping only I don't even feel guilty not disclosing any nicotene use, as insurance companies think of nicotene as agent orange or that I work in an asbestos plant.
