Looking at the results of the best of ECF voting - it's plainly obvious that the results are (however fairly) skewed towards a rabid fan-base that is extremely passionate and protective of the liquid that resides in their atomizers all day, every day. It appears as though the only people who "give a ...." have Nicoticket in their signature. By default - that leaves a good number of people who were not sufficiently motivated to get off their asses and cast a vote. What does that communicate to a potential customer? If we took the accumulated votes of every vendor in his review, Nicoticket would *still* win by landslide. The question that needs to be asked is "Why didn't they bother?"

Exactly

No flu shot for me ever. This isn't the flu though, its a gastro bug known as norovirus. So there isn't s shot for that anyway.

I refuse to get flu shots. No way. I haven't had the flu since I was little.

Good choices!!! :D they're all good fresh out of the mail, but the following feedback tends to be the consensus:

Doodle - awesome fresh; light cinnamon w/ yummy sugar cookie. After about a month, a pronounced ginger flavor will most likely develop, and you'll get more of a spiced cinnamon/gingersnappy flavor - depending on what you like more will tell you if you should hit it hard fresh, or wait for it to get a steep on it.

CLS and CB are also both very good fresh, but follow the steep recommendations on the website for sure with these two. They come together after a good couple of weeks steep, and go from awesome to Wooooooowww :)

The Virus I haven't tried, but most people will tell you it will develop and change as it steeps, so taste it regularly so you can enjoy the twists and turns it takes.

Hope that helps!! You'll be a full-on NT addict soon enough :D

Thanks for the info, Lois. Patience is not a virtue I possess, so I always have to vape "just a teensy amount" right out of the mail box, and then let the steeping begin. LOL....I just found some unforgotten Mountain Oaks Vapor that I had steeping in a box for almost a year. So you guys might have to remind me that I have some NT juice steeping. My mind is not too well organized.

I do appreciate the information you just passed on....I will try to remember where this post is

You know the flu shot doesn't give you the flu, right?

Just protects you against a lot of strains of it. Obvs not all of them, but it lowers your risk....have you ever had the flu? Not like a virus, but the legitimate "reported to the CDC" Influenza?

Have it once and I guarantee you'll be high tailing it to the doc to get your shot every year, trust. I had it when I was 15...was hospitalized over Christmas. I get the flu shot every year without fail. I would do whatever I had to do even if it lowered my chances only by a teensy bit. It was one of the worst experiences of my life - I thought I was going to die. (And I've had 3 ten pound babies naturally, so I'm no stranger to real pain)

Well, Glow.....I do peruse a lot of ECF, and I zeroed in on Nicoticket because of the results of that poll. Then I went searching for all Nicoticket's juice reviews. Usually (not always) when people are that psyched about juices, there is a lot of validity. I ordered from HHV for the same reasons, and I do really like a lot of those juices also. Ahlusion...same reasons, and I like them also, but they clog my cartos so I did not reorder. I put a lot of stock in the polls and reviews of other vapers here on ECF.

And if I were a vendor that was number 1 in any poll.....I would have that plastered all over my website. :)

Oh, don't get me wrong! I think NT is the best juice and the best customer service and the best Family!!! No question. And I shopped a lot of other juices before I found NT. I still get a very few juices from other sources since Clark doesn't carry them but otherwise, I vape NT most of the time, all the time. It is my go to juice when I am feeling bad, my celebration juice when I am feeling good and my meh juice so I can feel better! Clark, Katy and Abi are truly family for me. I can't believe he went from smoking to "Best of" in every category available to him in just a few short months. And, due to his farsighted business acumen, he will be around for a long time if he chooses!

I just wish more people had voted so we wouldn't keep seeing the whining that it was just NT fans that voted. Sour grapes I tell ya, sour grapes. But I won't post that anywhere else again. Got in trouble on another thread.:( People are very protective of their favorite juices...just like we are.

Anytime! :)

I'm just as impatient!! And don't don't stress too much about steeping it the "right" way....just hit it every once in a while, and if you like it, vape away!! You really can't go wrong w/ Clark's magical flavors :D

Hey, thanks for stopping in. The folks here in ECF (and elsewhere) are rabid - nothing short of zealots. I've never met a more loyal or passionate group of people in the vape world... REO, and Provari being the possible exceptions. Ahlusion might be a close comparison in the eLiquid world.

I don't know if CLS and or CB are "the best." Again, taste is subjective. I'm not butthurt about not being included... I'm not sure I would have known to proactively contact a blogger I've never met. No expectation that the whole field of custard should be included, but I figured I would be since I sell more custard than most 9 out of 11 of those vendors combined. I was surprised is all - anyone who googles Custard eLiquid is staring directly at Nicoticket - it's hard to miss me. ;)

No worries - just don't be surprised if the crowd grabs the torches and the pitchforks - people who vape NT regularly aren't customers, they are family... I'll pick on my little sister all I want, but if anyone else lays a hand on her I will junk punch them. :)

I don't trust anything like that. At all.

I have my many reasons.

Yes there is, having to wait on someone else. As a mom you should know that one only too well. :)

HAH! Good point.

When I was still living with my husband, it always blew my mind that when he got sick, he would go straight to bed and everyone was expected to take care of everything for him, and wait on him hand and foot. A simple cold would put him completely out of commission for days. But when *I* got sick, I was expected to not skip a beat. I don't miss that.

So yeah, in my house, single parenting isn't much different to what I was used to lol

It's actually a Triton (it's Halo's version of a 650mAh 808 battery with a clearo)...and you're not gonna believe this one...

Not only did I NOT find the missing one yet (so that's 1/3 of my vape hardware, missing), but last night I was attempting to rebuild my first Aspire head, and after I finished, I realized it was an 808 one, not a 510 (it was from my Smokeless Image Aspire - the pin is shorter), so I couldn't put it on the Vamo to test the ohms. I used 28 gauge wire instead of 32 per Rip's video, but I followed everything to the letter but with more wraps and it looked perfect, so I thought I would be ok - I put it on my other Triton battery, and yep, I fried it. I later figured out I could swap the pin and check it on the Vamo, and the ohms were way too low. So now that one is dead and gone.
I officially have no backups. (I have six batteries (2 18350s and 4 18650s) for the Vamo though, so as long as it stays alive and nothing happens to it, I'll be fine)...if that thing craps out I'm screwed.

I'm now debating on what to do on the 15th when I get paid. Luckily I'm good on juice for a while, so this months whole budget can go to hardware, but I'm torn. Do I:

Get a cheap pass through just for emergencies and continue to save up for a mod I really want down the road?

Get a couple vv twists and a pass through because I really don't know what mod I want next, and I really don't *need* anything fancy...just functional is fine.

Get just one mod that may cost a lil more, but is fancier...that will only give me one backup, but maybe 2 devices is enough? (I'm not in love with the look of box mods, but the MVP2 does seem to have it all - especially battery capacity)

Ok that was a massive ramble. Anyone's thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

Oh, and if anyone has any ego batteries they're looking to get rid of, I'd happily buy them from you. I'd rather spend the money with the family and hopefully save a little going with used.

Let me know!

So just to get this straight, do you have another battery mod besides the Vamo? You mentioned the Triton was 1/3 of your vape hardware but I'm not sure if that included toppers too or not.

If I go on the assumption that the Vamo is your only battery, then my vote would be to throw your money towards an MVP and a couple eGo batteries. Might I also suggest the vv/vw iTaste, which can be had for as little as $29.99 on eBay. It's got the footprint of an eGo battery but does both vw and vv, has an ohm checker, and it's easier to change wattage/voltage in the dark cuz of the light up display. So 2 or 3 of the above should be a relatively cheap way to get yourself some backups.

Smoktech Winder 1100 mAh on sale for $19.95 great price, very reliable battery (use code SWITCH for an additional 10% off that) (list me as your referral* if it's your first time ordering from them so I get points. you also earn points with each order.)
eGo Smoktech Winder Battery Variable Voltage | Smoketech Winder Variable Voltage Replacement Battery for eGo Electronic Cigarette

Innokin iTaste VV v3.0 $29.99, best price I've found, and I love these little things too. This and the winder above (along with a 3rd from Anyvape I won in one of the co-op threads) are my travel vapes. Love the Chameleon color, black with purple and green flecks in it.
Itaste VV 3 0 Starter Express Kit Authentic Guranteed The Latest wth More Rivets | eBay

And then the MVP2's which we've all talked about at 101vape but they're O/S right now, so Vapingtown2013 (same place carring the iTaste above) has them for a few bucks more. With the free shipping offered, it'd probably work out to be the same price or close to as the 101vape deal.

*for referral at aquavaporcig, need to use Cheryl Barstow instead of Cherie. That's the only single place I've found in my vape shopping that requires my name to exactly match what appears on my drivers license. Guess it's obvious they're using age verification, which is a good thing in my book.

Is Clark and Kent the same person???? Shades of Superman here. I did not know this.

th

Yep, that he is. He goes by Clark but his name is Kent, same as his father. I think that might be where Clark got started. Either way, his is Superman the NicoWizard to us!
