th

Yes, Kent is Clark, Clark is Kent, we often call him Superman :) you clearly caught the reference

I'm coincidentally Lois Lane.....it was my nickname before I ever even knew about NT, but it is now apropos, as I'm now totally in love with Clark lol

I are squeaky clean. Time for Walmart.

Lex, any kitty yet? I know I probably don't have to ask. She will let us know when he comes home. Bad kitty. No nip for YOU!

My taste is so fickle. Yesterday was all about frenilla and CB. Today, clove tobacco is totally rocking my world in an iclear 30 on the ZMax. What a change, right? I cleaned some iclear 16 tanks so I am going to vape my Apricot Ambition later tonight. Yummy day planned. CB and AA? Maybe!

You know the flu shot doesn't give you the flu, right?

Just protects you against a lot of strains of it. Obvs not all of them, but it lowers your risk....have you ever had the flu? Not like a virus, but the legitimate "reported to the CDC" Influenza?

Have it once and I guarantee you'll be high tailing it to the doc to get your shot every year, trust. I had it when I was 15...was hospitalized over Christmas. I get the flu shot every year without fail. I would do whatever I had to do even if it lowered my chances only by a teensy bit. It was one of the worst experiences of my life - I thought I was going to die. (And I've had 3 ten pound babies naturally, so I'm no stranger to real pain)

Yep, same. I hate all those adds on TV "Oh no, I have the flu better take this medicine so I can run my ten mile marathon!"

Seriously, if you've ever had the flu you would know it. I was seven when I had the flu. My clothes made my skin hurt, laying in bed hurt, everything HURT and I was praying to die it was so awful. Two weeks of HELL and a month recovering. If someone has the flu you are lucky to breathe, lucky to be able to move. The flu isn't a bad cold it is worse than any illness you've had times 1,000.

I refuse to get flu shots. No way. I haven't had the flu since I was little.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

Same with me actually. I just recommended it because I know a lot of people do get them. I am very much on top of taking vitamins and herbs and have all kinds of immunity boosters in my arsenal that I take every day so I never get sick in the traditional way. (just migraines and hangovers.)

However if I wasn't so obsessive with all my supplements and wasn't so active with exercise and dance, I'd probably push people towards the flu shot. I guess it depends on the person--someone who eats junk food most of the time and has a fairly lazy lifestyle (not Naki) would probably be much better off getting a flu shot since they're not doing enough good things with their body to keep the immune system up. Or also peeps who have more exposure to it like health care workers, teachers, and others working with the public, etc.

For Naki, I figured she'd be exposed to people with the flu in her day-to-day due to her job, so I thought maybe her employer would push all their employees to get it.

HAH! Good point.

When I was still living with my husband, it always blew my mind that when he got sick, he would go straight to bed and everyone was expected to take care of everything for him, and wait on him hand and foot. A simple cold would put him completely out of commission for days. But when *I* got sick, I was expected to not skip a beat. I don't miss that.

So yeah, in my house, single parenting isn't much different to what I was used to lol

For you Lo!

So just to get this straight, do you have another battery mod besides the Vamo? You mentioned the Triton was 1/3 of your vape hardware but I'm not sure if that included toppers too or not.

If I go on the assumption that the Vamo is your only battery, then my vote would be to throw your money towards an MVP and a couple eGo batteries. Might I also suggest the vv/vw iTaste, which can be had for as little as $29.99 on eBay. It's got the footprint of an eGo battery but does both vw and vv, has an ohm checker, and it's easier to change wattage/voltage in the dark cuz of the light up display. So 2 or 3 of the above should be a relatively cheap way to get yourself some backups.

Smoktech Winder 1100 mAh on sale for $19.95 great price, very reliable battery (use code SWITCH for an additional 10% off that) (list me as your referral* if it's your first time ordering from them so I get points. you also earn points with each order.)
eGo Smoktech Winder Battery Variable Voltage | Smoketech Winder Variable Voltage Replacement Battery for eGo Electronic Cigarette

Innokin iTaste VV v3.0 $29.99, best price I've found, and I love these little things too. This and the winder above (along with a 3rd from Anyvape I won in one of the co-op threads) are my travel vapes. Love the Chameleon color, black with purple and green flecks in it.
Itaste VV 3 0 Starter Express Kit Authentic Guranteed The Latest wth More Rivets | eBay

And then the MVP2's which we've all talked about at 101vape but they're O/S right now, so Vapingtown2013 (same place carring the iTaste above) has them for a few bucks more. With the free shipping offered, it'd probably work out to be the same price or close to as the 101vape deal.

*for referral at aquavaporcig, need to use Cheryl Barstow instead of Cherie. That's the only single place I've found in my vape shopping that requires my name to exactly match what appears on my drivers license. Guess it's obvious they're using age verification, which is a good thing in my book.

CP, you are an absolute doll. Thank you so much, you have NO idea how much I appreciate this...
My ability to obsess over searching for the best prices and figuring out the best setup for me right now, are severely hindered right now by a lack of time....I have some time at work, but I hate surfing web pages on my phone and can't use my work computer for it. At home, I have the computer, but when I'm home with the kids, forget it. (That's generally why I go MIA from the thread around 6pm every day ;))

My hardware collection consisted (in total) of two Tritons (which was 2 808 batteries and 2 clearos), the Vamo, one Aspire Vivi Nova w/ a 510 connection, 1 Aspire Mini Vivi Nova (the 2ml kind) with an 808 connection, a Kayfun clone, and an Igo-L. In the last week I have lost one complete Triton and destroyed the other (well, only destroyed the second battery, but that renders the clearo useless because it won't work on the Vamo). However, I did find that if I put a 510 head in the 808 Aspire mini, it will work on the Vamo because it threads onto the ego threads and the pin is long enough to connect.

So I am good with toppers, as I usually stick to only one or two flavors a day, and have the dripper in case I crave something different...but it's just making me incredibly nervous to only have one functional device. Even if I do have a bunch of backup batteries for it, if this goes kaput, I'm kinda done for, because we only have two B&M's around here and they're way overpriced.

So anyway, thanks SO MUCH again!!!!! :D you rock!!!

I'm gonna check all this out tonight after the kids get to bed, and I'll probably pick something inexpensive up now, just in case, and then wait for payday to get anything else I want.

Honestly I would just syringe the juice out, replace the carto, squirt the juice back in. That seems a lot easier and less prone to disaster then even trying to use a tool lol.

Now to find myself a carto setup still... lol. I'm not going to attempt the one I have again. It's a pos.

I do this with my LavaTanks, but I use a SYM-style tool to insert the cartos to prevent damaging the o-rings.

I think I am going to pick up a couple, I like em. I still need to decide on colors and styles though. I want wide bore ones for my drippers. LOL

I broke down a bought a wide bore shorty for my drippers. All brass to go on the Strata when it comes, and to match the brass accents on the ELA. I will place an order with him some day soon though. Just have to wrap my head around one of those fancy drip tips.

It's actually a Triton (it's Halo's version of a 650mAh 808 battery with a clearo)...and you're not gonna believe this one...

Not only did I NOT find the missing one yet (so that's 1/3 of my vape hardware, missing), but last night I was attempting to rebuild my first Aspire head, and after I finished, I realized it was an 808 one, not a 510 (it was from my Smokeless Image Aspire - the pin is shorter), so I couldn't put it on the Vamo to test the ohms. I used 28 gauge wire instead of 32 per Rip's video, but I followed everything to the letter but with more wraps and it looked perfect, so I thought I would be ok - I put it on my other Triton battery, and yep, I fried it. I later figured out I could swap the pin and check it on the Vamo, and the ohms were way too low. So now that one is dead and gone.
I officially have no backups. (I have six batteries (2 18350s and 4 18650s) for the Vamo though, so as long as it stays alive and nothing happens to it, I'll be fine)...if that thing craps out I'm screwed.

I'm now debating on what to do on the 15th when I get paid. Luckily I'm good on juice for a while, so this months whole budget can go to hardware, but I'm torn. Do I:

Get a cheap pass through just for emergencies and continue to save up for a mod I really want down the road?

Get a couple vv twists and a pass through because I really don't know what mod I want next, and I really don't *need* anything fancy...just functional is fine.

Get just one mod that may cost a lil more, but is fancier...that will only give me one backup, but maybe 2 devices is enough? (I'm not in love with the look of box mods, but the MVP2 does seem to have it all - especially battery capacity)

Ok that was a massive ramble. Anyone's thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

Oh, and if anyone has any ego batteries they're looking to get rid of, I'd happily buy them from you. I'd rather spend the money with the family and hopefully save a little going with used.

Let me know!

You pay the shipping... I have a present for you :)

I disagree Lois. I actually hate all vaccines. The only reason I got mine is because I had to for work. If I ever have a baby there would be a whole bunch of shots I would not be getting them.

Yea, I'm paranoid. Lol

Since I can remember when all the other kids asked for chocolate this or caramel that, it was always vanilla for me. I have become a vanilla snob through decades of trial and error. Clark's vanilla and CLS is the best and I have tried many vanillas from different vendors. Plain and simple. As to polls, I don't put a lot of stock in them because they are easily swayed. The best way for me to find what I am looking for is just down and dirty research and lots of it. One blogger's opinion means very little to me. 100 bloggers? We'll talk.

OK, I pulled the trigger on the 'why did I get such a small size, I vaped it all in 1 day size'
ended up with - Gravity, Betelgues, The Virus, CLS, CB
But, in two days I get paid, Franilla is out, and I order again in some real sizes
Thanks for the help
Good choices  Only one you forgot was Doodle ;) Starts off as a Snickerdoodle then after a month supposedly turns into a ginger snap. Since mine never lasts that long I wouldn't know  Everytime I order a juice I get the small bottle then a bigger bottle next order. I like the smaller bottles for out and about :D
