Has anyone tried high desert ecig nic base , it says its made in the USA?

I questioned a supplier recently on his claim to USA made nic and requested his certificate. He freely admitted to just rebottling foreign made.

Seems that's been a common thing in most industries nowadays anyways.

This was just a matter of him using foreign supplies that ended up , when finished , to be a USA product. Of course this is a common practice and I hold nothing against him for it. I was just requesting from him as to whether it was extracted here or not- He never made that claim ( or was bragging about it ) and was open about it just being the final product that was USA.

Nothing dishonest, just misleading in the way that advertising commonly is. Lol, like Menthol smokes make your breath smell better.

I've lost complete track of my own thoughts on the various subjects going on in this beautiful mess! And I'm not reviewing tonight! I have however decided that I love PG for fruits and sweets! The inherent acidity ( yes it's acidic) really brightens up those particular realms of flavors. Much in the same way that vinegar can really brighten up similar flavors when cooking.

I found this pdf that gives Euro and USP specs for proplyene glycol.

It lists a testing spec for acidity. To me this means that pg has some acidity.

BUT, I know zero, nada, zip, and absolutely nothing about chemistry. Perhaps some of you smarter fellas can take a look and enlighten me/us.

Maybe we can get someone like Kurt to explain this. I saved the file (I save everything :))

To me it looks like the test requirement has a less than or equal to requirement. Could that mean um ah uh? I don't know :)
The notation looks like less than/equal to 0.2ml of 0.1N NAOH to neutralize, what ? neutralize 1ml? 100ml?
Are the OH bonds such that it won't be alkaline? But may be acidic?

YUP, looks like we need a pro.

Great thread and some really good opinions, but unless I missed it, you'ns are leaving out one.
    What about the Nic Buzz??

If you vape 1ml, same mg, in 15min for each, are you able to notice a significant or slight difference in your buzz?

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm in it for the buzz :p

I'm wondering because I just came back from a juice quest and even though I ordered all my gourmet juices at the same nic level, not all were up to par on the nixfix. So, I'm wondering if this relates directly back to the base nix or vendor mix.
    Thanks

that's a good question skelley, and glad to have you, I was hoping you'd find this thread eventually :)

I didn't want to get into buzz because...well, everything I rambled about was subjective enough, and despite multiple disclaimers it comes up again...and again...and again...

Everything I've tried is all kind of close I guess. Just going off memory I feel like when "controlling" for nic concentration, MFS and WLR tend to hit a little harder and faster, RTS is the weakest, everyone else is somewhere around the middle.

Note that I don't have the means to control for nic concentration in any accurate or precise way, too much user error, to much vendor titration error, etc, so...

Also note that what I just said seems to scale with how much TH, Pepper and Alkaline taste a given nic has.

So I tend to think this is completely subjective nonsense on my part :)
