Got my first batch of nic (36mg from MFS to be diluted to 50/50 12mg) and FA desert ship, royal, cowboy (not sure about that one..) and two from TPA/TFA (ry4 and tobacco (not type m) Along with a little 10mg of vape wizard, which i have no idea how to use.

Here come the experiments. From what i've read, FA flavors are more concentrated then TPA... So i'm guessing.. 5% with a few drops of sweetener and how much vape wizard? must reread the thread, it's been months since i read it!

5% is way too strong for FA tobaccos. Start at 1%. I love FA Desert Ship. I add 4 drops in a 10 ml mix.

I agree with Jimi D. on this, start at 1% or 2% on the FA tobaccos and give them some time to develop before adjusting percentages (at least a week). You just may end up at a higher % on some but lots of folks get turned off on these flavor by starting out at too high a %.

Ah thanks for the heads up. I only started with 3 little 3ml samples, one with 3 drops, one with 6, and one with 6 and a drop of MTS "vape wizard" to test. i used the E-juicemeup app and i believe it said 6 drops was 10% at that size? I wonder if they will end up stronger then i like. I have mostly vaped the desert ship flavor via ECblends and always ordered extra flavor, so i figured i'd start higher.

Once i find a good base level, i may tinker and add a drop of chocolate or just a bit of generic sweetener (cotton candy) to round it out.

Not sure i like the smell of the cowboy FA i got right out of the bottle, but i will mix up some samples of that later on tonight. It's so green peppery smelling, it's hard to think of as a tobacco/marb like taste. Just reeks of green peppers to me.

Oh and am i suppose to be keeping my nic in the freezer when not in use? I got the MFS in a glass bottle, and i wasn't sure if that was the best storage method.

Thanks,

I suspect 10% is gonna be pretty heavy but hey yeah never know. If it knocks your socks off you can always dilute it a bit and slide your socks back on.

Freezing nic would be for long term storage. If you ordered more than you'll use in the next month or two, just package some up for the freezer. If you keep the cap on the nic you're working with, it will be fine at room temperature.

Ah thanks! I froze it after making my tiny little batch and when i took it back out it was too syrupy to work with (would not draw into syringe until i left it alone for a few hours. It was annoying. =-0

I've always liked STRONG flavors, (i use extra scoops of coffee when i make it, and drink it black) but i'm very keen to see how it all turns out.

Also was wondering, is there any difference in the FA flavors and the "super concentrated alcohol based" that cyrus talked about in a different thread? It seems that all or most of those flavors are the same (fa makes Desert ship, and the super concentrated refered to ALSO makes it, for example)

Is one clearly better or are they the same?

Thanks for keeping me educated everyone. =-0

Please keep in mind, that flavoring is synthetic. I like strong foods like heavy spices and extra cream. When it comes to artificial flavoring I start at 1% and go one drop at a time for the best results. When added too much flavoring, the dominant note would only be tasted. It took me 2 years to figure this out, and by reading everyone's ball park figures on E liquid recipes. Good Luck and enjoy the art of DIY.

Flavorart is my favorite, but SC has great flavors as well.

First results by smell only... the 3 drop 3ml sample, smells exactly the same as the 6 drop 3ml sample. So if that's any indication, you guys are probably right. That is pretty damn concentrated! Those samples work out to 5% at 3 drops, and 10% at 6, so i could do, 1 drop in a 3 ml sample by that math for about 1.75% to test.... interesting!

I enjoy learning new things, so this is pretty cool.

Anyone know the concentration level of any of the health cabin flavorings? I have about 15 of them- as they were about 1.25$ per 10ml with a co-op i was in, so i got a buncha flavors.

After my nicvape is gone, I'll order some. I'm waiting for the heatwave to dissipate as well.
3 months later, and I finally grabbed some ECX 100 mg. Although it's still hot as hell here. ;) My findings from the ECX is that my flavors really stand out. More so than the others I use. Tingle is excellent. Very clean stuff man.
