well rocketman I thought I was enough of a greasy fly for you :)

I tend to think most vendors cling to their nic supplier with a vengeance. I have been told as much by two suppliers, and have an interesting email from someone abroad that would seem to imply the same.

With how 'secretive' our vendors are wrt to their sources, it certainly makes sense. They've found something they approve of, they want to keep it coming, and don't want anyone else to find out about it. Perhaps if they caught wind of something better they may jump ship, or if they had difficulty obtaining their 'favorite' nic. But otherwise.

And from what I hear about the nic situation 'over there' there are dozens of places to get it, and only a tiny handful with a decent product. So assuming this is true, again, cling with a vengeance.

But yes, batch to batch variation, PG/VG variation, bottling variation, some guy who didn't wash his hands when cutting the nic...variation lol

And what casey, r77 et al. said :)

EDIT: If anyone wants to see something pretty funny, that wouldn't be appropriate to post here, please pm me your email addy if I don't already have it. I can promise you'll crack up.

pm ing now.......... :)

So I didn't contact the vendor because I didn't know that nic juice wasn't supposed to be dark colored and stinky, smelling like vommit :glare: , and I figured I wouldn't order from RTS anymore and chalk it up to experience. Although, to be fair, I usually do place 2 orders from each vendor that I've tried, whether it be juices or pv gear etc., just to see if there is consistency in quality, etc. There was no seal under the cap. Each plastic bottle of nic juice, not being sealed, could've been tampered with or worse. It made me wonder what EXACTLY was in there LOL.
Do most nic-juice vendors seal the bottle (under the cap, not just tape on the outside of the cap) or not? and which ones use glass? Isn't glass supposed to be best or doesn't it really matter if it's in plastic bottles?
I ordered plain VG juice from a site where the picture showed it in brown glass bottles, but alas, it came in a plastic bottle, although it was sealed under the cap. I've not found any differences in the VG I've ordered from different places, always being clear in color and same taste etc.
I have so much more to learn, wishing I had eidetic memory and I could speed through these forums and retain the info by just looking at the page without reading LOL

I'll post more later but I received nic from XV last week and it was very well packaged. It's glass w/ dropper, so no seal there, but it was sealed around the cap and had a tamperproof type sticker over that, then put in a nicely sealed bubblewrap bag, and then in a heat sealed baggie. Nice. I gave it a sniff, and it smells fine. Will be mixing some next week, but expect good things.

So, down by philly or over by P-burg? I'm near Reading.

I don't recall receiving any nic from any supplier that had a seal under the cap, just sealed around the outside of the cap.
Which doesn't really bother me, the vendor does the bottling anyway so it doesn't matter if the seal is on the inside or
outside as long as the seal is intact.

so most vendors use a seal of some kind on the outside, not udner the cap, mainly to prevent leaking during transit I suppose? I think I expected a seal, kind of like when I buy a bottle of Clorox, unscrew the cap and then ya have to pull of the seal sort of thing. So 100 mg nic juice doesn't need any kind of seal ? (at least it wasn't sealed in my RTS order a few months ago)
Perhaps I simply got a mis-labeled product and it wasn't 100 nic, just very aged funky 36 mg nic or no nic at all, something like greasy corn oil or something else LOL ...end of rant

LMAO The entire bottle!!??!! I hope it was in a carto at least ! LOL

well tbh honest I did dump out many batches from that bottle, until I realized the only way to make it work for me was strong menthol :)

for my tobacco blends the smell/'taste' would just get amplified and either require me to vape with my nose pinched or gag lol

I had someone this weekend tell me that I could make s*&t taste good in a vape.

Now I find CV calling me a "flavorologist".

I'm not sure what these two things mean or how I should take them, but I'm leaning toward putting s*&tologist on my business cards.

(They currently say "Factotum" which is the best job description I've ever come up with.)
