That is the exact canned response I received from MyFreedomSmokes when I mentioned the poor quality of their VG. "We've had no complaints." they said.... I had to trash the stuff because it was way too thin.

while disappointing that heartland did not tell me who their supplier is... i dont think it is near as big of a deal as you guys are making it out to be. if it is good... then why does it matter? i respect their decision not to tell me. had they told me it was from alchem... i would not have purchased at all. thanks to the comments in this thread. now the product can speak for itself.
As with everything in life, it's a personal choice. For me, it was more the way it was put.....secrecy when it comes to my health or those that I love, no thank you. Same reason I refuse to feed my dogs certain brands of high quality dog food.....secrecy....on a simple inquiry as to how much phosphorus is in their food (for the sake of my dog that had kidney issues). We get disgusted with all the secrecy of what BT has been allowed to put into ciggies without our knowledge, I find the same secrecy on a source of nicotine just as off-putting for me. Again...it's a personal choice and I will never tell anyone that they shouldn't purchase from any specific vendor....that is their choice and their choice alone to make.
Wow, just when I am thinking about starting DIY I find there is some bad nic out there and I need to find good to start. I am just subscribing here.
Here's what I've learned in the past few weeks:
Alchem nicotine is ubiquitous now, incredibly pure, but recent batches are just totally off for my purposes when it comes to taste, smell, etc.
RTS was using them at least once. Draw your own conclusions about their rhetoric. What a pile of crap.
MFS first tried to rectify the situation, albeit with huge mistakes (ignoring me for weeks at a stretch, items "lost in the mail" (or were they shipped? I never got tracking...they ALWAYS send tracking))...and now finally I'm told that 'there is nothing wrong' as no one else has complained and so that's it. I replied and was ignored.
The bad news is I'm out 120$ and have to figure out a way to dump 5L+ of nicotine.
The good news is I just got 500ml from wizard and am very excited to test it out, break it down into smaller portions and round off my freezer supply of usable nicotine to one liter of good old WLR and 60 ml of vintage MFS.

Cyrus, I don't know if the nic you have on hand to be disposed of resembles the horrid batch that NicVape had a few years ago or not.....BUT I had some of that nasty batch and was unsure how to dispose of it at the time so it just got pushed to the back of my mixing drawer. I went to get rid of it sometime last year and when I opened the bottle, there was no, zero, none of the rancid horribly chemical smell that was there when I received it. I got brave and decided to go ahead and mix it down to a vapeable level and it was perfectly fine.
Again, not sure if it's the same issue with that 5L or not, but if you have a closet or cabinet to hide it away in for a while, it may settle out.....or not, I dunno. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I'd be kind of worried sending off big jugs of 100mg to people via this method.

Has anyone ever been short-changed by a supplier when buying Nic? I purchased 500 ml from Vaping Zone and it turned out to be approximately 10% short. When I contacted the company they said I am only entitled to an approximate amount, adding that they estimate that amount by pouring into a bottle to an imaginary line where the curve starts. I guess to Vaping Zone 90% is close enough - as long as it works in their favor.... They refused to make up the difference.

No, I've never been shorted with nic, but I've never purchased from there either. (I had to fix the mass unit of measurement to a volume unit of measurement.)

I looked at my account with them and no order is showing, my account was debited but I am nervous now. I tried to get someone in person today on the phone but no luck, so I left a message about 1pm....no call back

No, I haven't but I got my shipping confirmation the other day and expected delivery is tomorrow. I did see on the main page of their site that they've just switched over to a dedicated server, so it's possible that some info/data hasn't been transferred yet. Did you get a confirmation email when you ordered?
They should only get paid 90% of what you owe them.
You paid for 500ml.They owe you 500ml, not 450.
I don't know how to fight that.

Thanks Mowgi, is there such a thread as VAPING ZONE IS A RIP OFF? I am going to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. Fortunately I have saved their e mails supporting my case. The amount I paid is not such a big deal, but I want to stop them from ripping off others.
