Yeah. Well there is a difference between what is doable and what is economically viable, isn't there? :)

People still pop up on ECF and say it's being done and point to citations about the process - but they just can't understand how cheap it is for good quality stuff from China compared to here (assuming you order good quality and pay for it).

I'm surprised that AmeriNic isn't online yet, but maybe they found out no one would buy nic at $2,000 a jug.

I'm always terribly amused by the fact that folks are crazy about getting nicotine of only the highest quality... and then they go and put it in contact with a coil of resistance wire pumping out 10 watts of power over a very tiny area in the presence of oxygen. :)

After they were willing to lie once, I'd have trouble believing any claims they make.

Mostly, it goes to show that even inside a company it's possible to be in the dark about what's going on.

In the end we got the true story because there was some pressure to make sure the right info was provided, and I knew enough about them to believe that in the end I'd got the whole story - there's some more background that is not necessary to go into...

I think it's about 40 watts now :)

Has anyone ever been short-changed by a supplier when buying Nic? I purchased 500 ml from vaping Zone and it turned out to be approximately 10% short. When I contacted the company they said I am only entitled to an approximate amount, adding that they estimate that amount by pouring into a bottle to an imaginary line where the curve starts. I guess to vaping Zone 90% is close enough - as long as it works in their favor.... They refused to make up the difference.
Crazy when there's a simple solution for them....buy a scale and fill by weight. They likely wouldn't appreciate it if their supplier did they same.

There are enough suppliers out there who are dedicated to customer satisfaction and care enough about precision and accuracy in everything they do that you have no reason to accept a haf-assed attitude like this from a supplier.

You're entitled to what you paid for. Period.

Ha! I'm pretty sure that is fraud. Selling a quantity and not delivering same said quantity. Imagine if I bought a package of six socks only to find there were five. Or bought a giant size of 500 aspirin and there was only 450 in there. Nope - not acceptable. They are only giving you the 'approximation' bs because that is how they actually fill, but they need to accurately measure, advertise "aproximately 500ml", or get out of business.

update on my nics. i got the 120 mil from heartland and 120 mil from vz. tested them both out. both came in at 100mg or a touch more. <--i dont count drops... i count lines on my 3mil syringe. the vz was clear while the heartland has a touch of yellow tint to it. the smell of both were the same. if i had to tip a hat towards which one was not as strong in smell... it would go to heartland.

because of the price difference... i went with heartland for my bulk purchase.

It's that time of the year, time to stock up on nic. Am I understanding correctly that WL and NN are safe and that RTS and MFS are not safe right now?

IMO, what you are buying is a company that will stand behind it's product. Ideally they check every batch that comes in before they ship it out, reducing chances of error and will deliver what they advertise.

Ty, the owner of HeartlandVapes, confirmed for me that HV's 100mg/ml liquid nic is exactly the same as what they've been selling all along. HeartlandVapes liquid nic has the same very slight yellow tint as my WizardLabs Regular nic, but it carries no smell, the potency is correct, and it gives a lovely, crisp bite.

With coupon code 25off100, a one-liter jug is still $74.99 with free shipping, which is the best price I know of for that quantity (a gallon is an even better deal), so I ordered another liter of 50/50 PG/VG. At that price, more good nic in the freezer is worth the investment.
