Has anyone tried Nic from VaporShots?
I hadn't heard of them until you posted here. I took a look at their website, which lists their address as Florida for anyone interested in that kind of info.

I also noticed they sell naturally extracted Pink Bubblegum flavoring :?:
:)

EDIT: And here's their Nicotine certificate

Still confused which vendor has the best throat hit. Tried Xtreme vaping, My Freedom Smokes, and for me, neither of them measured up to WL for throat hit. Just wondering if Vaping Zone or EcigXpress will be any better....
Sorry I haven't tried them all, so I can't really advise.

You must be looking for quite a throat hit. I had the Xtreme Vaping nic not too long ago and it gave me much more of a throat hit than I was used to. I'm still using up my Nudenic atm, but so far it seems smoother than the Xtreme Vaping stuff.

My recent order of liquid nicotine from Heartland Vapes (one liter of 100mg/ml nic in a 50/50 PG/VG base) arrived in the mail yesterday. The large box contained a white plastic 1-liter jug with its cap taped inside a sealed clear plastic bag, which was surrounded by styrofoam peanuts. (All the nic I’ve ordered from major suppliers has been well-packed.) Included in the box were the print-outs of the two certificates----MSDS and COA.

Today I compared the HeartlandVapes liquid nic to the WizardLabs Regular liquid nic, also at 100mg/ml in 50/50 PG/VG, which is the nic I’ve been using for the past year. (I also have a liter of 100mg/ml RTS nic in VG and 500ml of MyFreedomSmokes 100mg/ml nic in PG---both purchased within the past three months---but those two bottles are unopened and in the freezer, and I wasn’t about to open and thaw them just for an ad hoc test).

Both Heartland and Wizard are nearly clear and almost transparent liquids. Each appears to have a very slight translucency. Neither liquid has any obvious color, but if hard-pressed, I’d say that the Wizard nic leans toward the yellow end of the spectrum, while the Heartland leans toward the orange-brown. For all intents and purposes, though, I’d call them both clear. My WizardLabs nic has remained almost clear for a year now. Time will tell about the HeartlandVapes nic, but it's clear now.

Nose of the two liquids is very similar. Again, neither has an obvious scent, but I pick up a trace of what I might call “earthiness” from both (like the fresh smell of good dirt), with the Heartland nic earthiness being a tad more present. I’m comfortable calling them both essentially odorless.

I mixed two small samples containing 1ml (20 drops) of unflavored PG to which I added 6 drops of each respective nic, for a concentration of 24mg/ml. I comparison-vaped these by dripping into identical 2.2 ohm Joyetech SR510 atties---both cleaned and dry-burned---powered by two VAMOs set to 7.5 watts RMS.

Neither nicotine imparted any easily identifiable flavor to the PG. I didn’t notice any pepper or sharpness from either. I don’t know yet how the Heartland nic will affect various flavor profiles in my DIY. I’ll discover that in the weeks ahead, since I’ll probably mix up two batch of each DIY juice I make for awhile, just to see if there’s a discernible difference.

Interestingly, throat-hit was a little more emphatic in the Heartland nic, though not enough to suggest that impact potency was measurably higher in the Heartland. If the throat-hit of Wizard Regular is given a benchmark of 100, then the Heartland nic I got would be about 104. Very close, with the Heartland having a tiny bit more intensity.

I’m quite pleased. WizardLabs Regular liquid nic has been my standby since WL went online. If the HeartlandVapes liquid nic proves over time to be as good as it seems in my informal comparison-test, that will be brilliant, given that the price for a full liter of 100/mg/ml ($75 shipped) is 40% cheaper than Wizard, which was the former reigning champ for least expensive high-quality nic, especially in less-than-industrial quantities.

I was comparing Xtreme with WL. Have you compared the two? What do you think?

I've never had WL nic. I've only had three

VZ Nic - Ordered two 120ml bottles. Cracked one open for use and put one away in the freezer. The one that I cracked open and used up was good stuff. Mellow throat hit and no taste whatsoever, which is a good thing. No smell either.

Opened up the second one months later and it had a weird bitter aftertaste. Tried it with just PG/VG, and tried the PG/VG separately to make sure it was the nic. Contacted them for a replacement and they basically said that there's no way I got a bad batch and they wouldn't replace it. I know you guys like to avoid naming names like this, but I firmly believe sharing our experiences (the good and the bad) is what makes this forum so community like.

Xtreme Vaping - Hoosier pointed me in this direction after my mishap with VZ. The nicotine was good quality. It was a bit harsher than I was used to, but I adapted. Towards the end of the bottle I started picking up on a bit of an odor. My friends said it smelled like fish but I just smelled 'earthiness'. I'm pretty sure this was simply because I didn't handle it the right way.

What you should do is take out 30mls or so at a time as 'working nic' and put the rest back in the freezer to slow/stop oxidation. My whole 120ml bottle was just out in room temperature the entire duration of it's use, which leads me to believe it oxidized a bit faster than it should have. In any case, it was quality nicotine with no taste imparted and a very solid throat hit.

Nude nic - This is the one I'm currently using. Its very clean and tasteless and has a mellow, but present, throat hit. So far I'm enjoying it and have nothing negative to say about it other than the fact that some of you throat-hit chasers might not enjoy this one. Don't get me wrong - the throat hit isn't weak. It's default and nice. It's just that some of you want a mega throat hit and it isn't here with this company.

WOW! Two outstanding reviews!!

Although I'm an RTS fan and very satisfied with their nic, I sure do appreciate anyone that takes the time to express their opinions/observations in such an astute and familiar manner. Kudos out to both o' ya'll!

Although I have enough Wizard Ice to last quite awhile, I still enjoy reading reviews of current and new sources---thanks for the continued input to this thread everybody.

Ahhh ... I wish I had some Wizard Ice left! I wonder if they'll EVER get that back ... it was the best IMO.

can folks chime in on what is WL Ice and what's its about?

To Me ... it was a GREAT nicotine. Clear and clean ... and no pepper taste AT ALL (I can't stand the peppery taste in some nic's). Ice was a very smooth nic ... and inexpensive. The quality, taste (none), and price were the best - to me anyway. I really liked it ... and I really hope they bring it back!

PS It was available at WizardLabs ... they don't have it anymore. :(

Someone stated that Xtremevaping's nic is the same as WL's Ice. I've had some and as an unflavored only vaper, it's almost too clean for me.

It'd be a great choice for a flavored vaper that doesn't want the nic to taint their flavor profile.

I'm using Xtreme's nic right now ... and yes, it is the same as Wizard's Ice (IMO).

It's excellent nic, and I really like it. The only difference I see is the price ... it's MUCH more expensive than the Ice was ... about 3 times the price!
