I am dumping the dec mfs nic. I've totally had It, can't vape it anymore.
I've also had problems with cold sores starting right after I got this. It got pretty bad this week. I'm pretty sure it's this nic. The nasty taste is really coming through in my mixes too. I'm vaping some older juices till I receive some good nic.

Putting an order in with WL, I'm assuming I should be ok with it? Want the good strong tobacco nic. Like Cyrus likes.

Sorry to hear that Jeremy. I won't even touch my Nicvape with a 10 ft. pole ! I don't know what's in it. Best not to use it.

Wizard Labs is not a heavy nic, nor a light one. When I do a nose hit, I do sneeze. Which is good enough for me. What I really like about WL, the flavors don't get muted. Heavier TH seemed to mute the flavors for me. I just got a 500 ml bottle yesterday with a new lot#. All is good man. :)

Sorry to bust in the thread:) I've been out of the DIY game for a while, can someone please give me the lowdown on who has the quality VG and Nic these days? Thanks.

Edit . I like Nic with little taste , if that is still possible!
Wizard Labs. I have the newest batch. It still remains the same as it always has.

Sir Jimi D - Love your threads--- You wrote "Wizard Labs is not a heavy nic, nor a light one." Is there a light one available? I think I smoked menthol for 35 years is because the cool sensation covered up the nic back of throat irritation. I find I have to mix with a high % of mint/menthol/koolada to cover up the HT at 12mg nic. Batches from RTS in 10/2013 and one of the first new MFS in Dec 4 of 13 both give me too much of that peppery back of the throat hit unless loaded up with flavor. (50/50 mix) Above 12mg nic I just can't do.

Yes, Nude Nic is smoother.

I made a Nic order in Dec and Feb from MFS. I have absolutely no complaints on the quality of the MFS Nic I've received. So in all fairness to MFS, I don't believe everyone is experiencing the problems some are. I just hate that some passerby's reading this thread leave with the impression that MFS Nic is tainted/sub-par or whatnot...

If you ordered from mfs to recieve their highly acclaimed "famous nic". Clicked order under their "famous nic" description and then received this untested, new nic that we know nothing about, with-out being notified or told; you would not be happy. (Bait&Switch) Maybe you just don't notice the difference. Maybe their batches are very inconsistent. Either way people should know, this is not the "famous nic" it's totally new.. And I do appreciate your concern for the vendor. Not against you or anything.. But other people are clearly mfs fanboys and don't want to dis their favorite vendor.

I'm hardly a Nic connoisseur and definitely no fanboy for much of anything except diy and my KF's :~) but I do recall MFS sending out an email to all subscribers about their nic, so I don't know much about any bait and switch... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...42-lesson-nicotine-not-mine-mfs-discount.html

...but like I said, I have no gripes with my MFS nic nor with my WL nic...I haven't developed any warts, cold/canker sores, hives, rabies...whatnots...the only gaseous experiences I've had came from being a little too generous on my TA percentages...

Lol.. I only mentioned the cold sores because it *seems* related, could be chemicals in it, could just be an adjustment to the new nic, or something unrelated... Just wanted to know if other have side effects.. The main gripe is the weakness and taste, this my opinion. Glad your happy with what you've got. When I ordered I received the shipping notice.. *Followed by the email about the new nic.

Their site still says our "famous nic", which is essentially false advertising. The information should be clearly posted in the order page. Not only posted for those in the know, members by email or those that research it. All these suppliers just changing their nic with out saying so in the product description is pretty shady IMHO... There's a certain standup supplier I'm thinking of that would clearly state the change in bold red on the order page.. and recommend to place a small order until your Sure you like it.

Like I said nothing against you :) .. I don't think your a fan boy; but I have run into others that clearly are, and that's fine, I totally understand it.

Technically 'cold sores' are viral. Once you have the virus you have the virus and its forever. Some people are prone to recurrent outbreaks. That said, as to what triggers the outbreaks once you harbor the bug, the jury is out on that one.

That said jeremy you're not the only who's mentioned this so it does make me think. Bottom line for you is, if you think it triggers it, time to ditch the trigger and see if it helps!

I have much bigger problems than nic @ the moment...lol...my wife accidentally unplugged my computer a few weeks back and I lost a recipe I was working on in my calculator...I hadn't written it down and wouldn't you just know it...it's turned out to be one of my best tobacco mixes to date.

Your wife is more crafty than mine. Mine just says "that stinks. please go back to unflavored." And its over LOL.

Cyrus I'm not sure they are technically cold sores.. Vaping seems to cause some issues with this in general. But it's been much worse with this new nic. The last straw was a weird sore on the side of my tongue, very painful, Never had anything like this before.. The sores seemed to have become a much bigger problem since I got this... It's been pretty continuous. It could be a coincidence but what if it's not.

The only sores I get from general vaping is if I bite my cheek or something it will take a long time to heal. Get cantankerous like a cold sore but it was started as a physical injury to the tissues.
