Well, my heart rate has gotten back to normal (from being all jacked up), BP is looking Great also . I just mixed up some 5mg/ml Unflavored RTS/MBV 50/50 (down from 6mg/ml) and some 3mg/ml Unflavored/Menthol 10:1 ratio 50/50 (again down from 6mg/ml, the Menthol really helped with the nic drop) just a little while ago (about 12ml of each). I've only had 2 Pepsi's today (also down from 6). Don't know what else I can do. Thank You everyone for the help and suggestions and help in this matter, I really appreciate it. Now I'm off to try catching up on this thread, I'm at page 78 now, only 83 to go (less if I would quit posting ;)). I am digg'in this DIY a lot.

FYI Ya'll: a 12oz. can of Coke has 32mg of Caffeine, a 12oz. can of Pepsi has 38mg of Caffeine, and a 12oz. can of Mountain Dew has 54mg of Caffeine (and I drank 6-7 of them per day). That along with Nic, and my age, I didn't even consider to have any link on my body. Maybe it does though.

Jeremy, I bought a few bottles of (they claim) non-tobacco derived nicotine from nktr e-juice, I sent one of the bottles to a friend of mine who is a chemist, I want to find out if this is synthetic nicotine. The product label on the bottles specifically states "Non-Tobacco" derived nicotine.

The flavor of the juice is the cleanest I've ever vaped, not sure if it's the nic or the juice. Regardless, its damn good juice. I'm very fussy when it comes to good product. I'll post the results of the chemical composition of the nicotine when they arrive.

Not finding any Google info on SQN, the company that makes NKTR???

I will add something. Everything you take into your body has a direct effect on your health. I believe All modern illness's can be cured or prevented by diet alone, if you know what your doing.

There's a threshold of what your body can handle , you may have just went over the amount of stimulants your heart likes to deal with. Nic is enough of a stimulant that its kept me up all hours of the night, possibly more than caffiene would for me since its a consistent intake, like 3 am when I have work in the morning. I have to cut back at night or I won't go to sleep.

No im not trying to alarm you, just a point in all this. We don't know the condition of your liver, or other detoxification systems, at the time; so it may not have been detoxifying properly and that's why the stimulants were built up in your system and the effects were longer lasting.

Doctors probably never looked there because allopathic medicine (drugs & surgery) doesn't look at the body as a whole.

Lol, I usually take some good hits everytime I wake during sleeping, as I often wake many times during the night and have a dripper, mod, charger/cells and juice also on the nightstand :)

I've never thought about it being possible the reason for that I don't sleep that good at times, lol :)

I will try to cut down at night and not vape during either, for sure!

    Thanks!

Dude you didn't notice that yet.. Major insomnia if your nic intake is high enough.

My last major case was after my first ss coil, I chain vaped the heck out of it around 11pm, then kept vaping, 3:30 or so before I went to sleep, and I was tired before I began rebuilding.

Many people reserve a low nic juice for use at night to prevent insomnia, I probably should. Lol

Heh, I must be slow! :) I think I have heard something a long those line though, but never really took it to heart before your post...

I only vape 3mg though all the time, but I go through 20+ml's a day with it... Dripping with dual 22 or 24 gauge KA1 3mm macros is a major juice guzzler :)

I hear ya on being slow ;) It just never occurred to me that 6mg/ml could give me any problems as I have always looked at 6mg/ml and 3.5/4.5ml per day as being a really low dose, but everyone is different and I just didn't take into account my age playing a part. I have found in all of this (among other things) that coming here and asking questions was a really good Idea (like I hoped it would be), and time WELL spent. I've received so much Good, Common Sense information on this subject that I will have to read over again these last few pages cause it is alot for me to digest in one sitting. I just hope that the information contained on these few pages will help someone else as well, and keep them out of possible trouble. I really didn't mean for this to be Off Topic as much as it has and for so long. For that I apologize to everyone, but I really do appreciate the time you have given me.

Ok. I went in to see my Cardiologist (at Mayo) today and asked a very pointed question thinking I knew what her answer would be, but asked anyway. I was surprised. The question was "With me drinking 6 to 7 12oz. cans of Pepsi per day AND vaping, which of the 2 would you say is worse for my A-fib ?", she responded by saying "Caffeine is a stimulant to the heart, and Nicotine is an Irritant to the heart, in you're case it would be the Caffeine that is giving you the trouble, if those are the only options I have to work with" (I wonder if she is thinking solely of Big Tobacco type Nicotine here with all the 4000+ other chemicals added to it). So those of us with A-fib that didn't know this, I hope this info helps you out some. My Cardiologist is kind of a big deal World Wide I hear and very respected in the medical community, not just with Mayo. All of what you (Jeremy) and others here have said I have taken to heart ;) (no pun intended) on this issue, but I just found it very interesting what she said to me (when I framed the question properly) and sensed a bias I did not expect (for some reason). A little Politics going on here maybe as this is Mayo in Minnesota where laws have been passed against Vaping ? All along (for the last 11 months) she has ragged on me bad about my Vaping and NOT my Pepsi intake. I remember when Medicine was Medicine and Politics were Politics and the two did not intertwine, too bad that I had to craft my question like a Politician to get a purely Medical answer. Now, on to mixing up some more RTS/MBV 50/50 @ 4mg/ml (and not feeling bad when I go wild and mix up a little 6 or even 8mg/ml on occasion). I have a 30ml bottle of ECX 3mg/ml 50/50 mixed coming in the mail to try out (on Jeremy's suggestion) and see how I like that one, although I really do like this RTS nic., but having more options is always good.

I have been using VG/PG from both MBV and RTS and notice no difference in taste between them (I have vaped both straight in a 50/50 mix as a control when Nic taste testing). I get a slightly sweet taste that I like. My question is, is that slightly sweet taste I get from just my RTS/MBV brand, or is that a general trait of most PG/VG, brand not withstanding. I mix at 50/50 and always have.

I haven't posted in this thread for quite awhile but still check in occasionally, just wanted to let anyone interested know Nude Nic is running a sale. It's 30% off any nic solution with code PreBlackFriday30

My wife's not going to be happy, I think it's time to look into a dedicated freezer :|

    Carry on :)
