I'm trying to get the correct products for the Nicotine test, and have been having a tough time. I found two bottles of tester liquid at the local Walmart, and wanted to know if they are correct/will work with the method described in the stickied post. Here they are:
"ORTHOTOLIDINE" -- "indicator solution for chlorine test"
--Contains: Orthotolidine: 0.05% and Hydrocloric Acid: 3.7%
"PHENOL RED" --"Indicator solution for hydrogen test"
--Contains: Orthotolidine: 0.05% and Hydrocloric Acid: 3.7%
These were in the test kit refill section.
Any advice apricated!
