What happened?

My first bottle of Goldrush was fantastic, a full-flavored Turkish tobacco with very little sweetness, very Camel-like. This was 10mL of 24mg, ordered (by a friend) on 7/16.

My second bottle, ordered on 7/23, is entirely different. It has a light, sweet taste like a very mild mixture of Bounty Hunter and RY4... not much flavor there, I can't taste any tobacco. I had my wife try it and she agreed. It's also marked 24mg but has very little throat hit.

These two juices are not even remotely the same.

What is Goldrush supposed to taste like?

Like the first bottle Max. I'm on my second bottle, as well. The first was just like you described your second... until it steeped about 5 days. Then it hit and tasted like you described your first bottle. (The second bottle came in already tasting just right.) That's actually pretty normal when a juice vendor starts getting a rep and sending out juice faster and faster. It doesn't have time to sit on the shelf and steep. Leave it be for a few days and try it again. Get's better with age. :)

I'm not a big fan of having to steep juices... but I'd be willing to cut Gene some slack, NLV being one of the superstars of the juice world and all now. (He probably could use some sleep, too.) :D

MaxUT Gold Rush should taste like your first bottle. all the bottles i have recieved have tasted just as you describe.Gold Rush is one of my favorite juices. i havent ordered any since your first order but i doubt they changed anything. i would also recommend letting it steep for a few days or so and see what happens. im sure if it doesnt come around NLV will take care of you.

its also good to hear NLV is doing so well. it doesnt really surprise though. they are a wonderful company that takes great care of their customers and makes some of the best juice on the market.

Thanks for the input guys, I'm relieved at knowing what GR is supposed to taste like.

I really think this bottle is mislabeled since it couldn't possibly be Goldrush, it's just too different. I've steeped a lot of tobaccos and this juice is smooth with no 'twangy' taste, so it's going to stay pretty much as it is now.

I don't really mind though. I imagine Gene is extremely busy taking care of all the new business and odd things are bound to happen. I'll just order some 10mL bottles next time and everything should be okay.

I actually like the original version of Sundance a bit more since I normally like stronger flavored juices but, the lite version is pretty nice for what it's worth. Although, I've heard that some people complained that the original was to rich for their taste.

From what he told me through email. The original version should be up soon since that's what I'm waiting for too. Want to get myself a 130ml bottle of that. All I can say is if you like Bounty Hunter than your gonna like Sundance since they're both sweet tobacco vapes.

MaxUT...please contact Gene about your GoldRush. Read my review about it. My little original 10ml is a light golden color. This was purchased quite a while ago..June, 2011. It has a hint of sweetness. My large bottle is the same that was sent July, 2011.

I just received my bottle of Sundance Lite but it's going in the steeping closet for a couple of weeks before I try it out. I will do a review at that time.

Hairball ~ I've read your review at least 6 times.

Naw, not gonna trouble Gene with it. I'm sure he'd send out another bottle but I consider that I got good value, what with the low prices, the free bottle caddy and all.

No, I'll keep this juice, touch it up with some flavoring and give it to my wife. Why not, she got the bottle caddy...

Newbie here I'm still searching for juices that I like I just got my first NLV order in the mail today. All I got was Bounty Hunter and Line Rider. Bounty Hunter is def one of the best juices I've had so far great consistent flavor every time. Line Rider on the other hand seems kind of weak like I don't taste much of anything when I vape this. Granted all I have right now is a standard 501 (i'll be ordering an Ego on Friday) Anyone have experience with Line Rider? Should I let this steep?

Always a good idea to let juices steep. The heat we have been having doesn't help them in shipping. Not much anyone can do about that. I DO know you can't go wrong ordering from NiteLite. If you read all the reviews here it will help you choose your flavors. You will also notice no one has anthing bad to say about Gene or his products. He has GREAT customer service!

They sent me a nice little juice case too. It's actually perfect for holding extra cartos. A pleasant surprise. I will def be ordering more from NLV my only complaint is my order took longer than any other juice vendor I've tried so far. It was only a week but from the other 3 or 4 places I've tried it's usually just 2 or 3 days. I was anxiously checking my mailbox every day. Bounty Hunter is worth the wait though!

Glad you liked your order. Yeah, they've been swamped since their name got out there since they were one of the smaller and unrecognized vendors up until now. They usually ship pretty darn fast. I got my orders in an average of three days and I'm in Seattle.

Glad you liked your order. Sorry to hear about your experience with line rider but like I said before. Because of the new business they have been getting. They're pretty much trying to compensate for that but at the same time. Juice is going out their door freshly mixed. You might wanna let it steep a bit.

The flavor that I get from Line Rider is a 555 type of flavor. If your not familiar with that, it's a nutty tobacco that's not sweet but a little robust. Also, if you actually let Bounty Hunter steep for a while. Then it only gets better. If you don't vape all of it before that happens that is. The color even changes from reddish to a brownish red sort of a color. The tobacco is a bit more pronounced as well.

Just a quick question: When I first vaped the Goldrush juice, I absolutely LOVED it. It tasted just like an analog, traditional cigarette flavor, but it had this, I don't know, undefinable and I almost want to say sweet or semi-sweet flavor to it that I really, really enjoyed. But after a couple days, that taste--that flavor I would go back and buy more and more of--vanished in the juice. That's when I decided to mentholate it with some of the Alien Visions menthol drops, just 2, didn't want to go overboard. And now I have a mentholated blah taste when before, after the taste I loved vanished, I just had a blah taste. Kind of like smoking an analog. Just blah. So, my quick question that has become long, LOL, is where'd that flavor go? And am I the only one who tasted it? Thanks for reading and many thanks for replying. And if you can nail down that flavor, a thousand thanks, because it was just so good!
