The reality is, is that NJ citizens would have to sue the local government to have this proposed law blocked.

I don't live there so I cannot be a party to such a lawsuit but you had better believe if the State or Local here tries to pass such a law based of false info like this with a $1000 fine to boot I'd be in Court.

Totally right MrKai...

I have talked to several in the law profession regarding this and they believe that this type of thing IS unconstitutional, but it would have to be fought in court. So it might be one of those things we should *let* happen so someone could fight it...

But then again... someone would almost have to stand up and say "Please, go ahead and pass this because I will make it my oath to fight this in court as Un-constitutional" and then actually follow through with the promise.

Anyone? Anyone? It would set precedence that could be used nationwide... if you win!

Electronic cigarettes are not a safe alternative to regular cigarettes, according to Russell Sciandra, a tobacco policy specialist with the American Cancer Society.
"We don't know anything about them - that's the problem," Sciandra said. "We don't know what's in these things."

How Can he say they are not safer then Say he don't know whats in them
