Someone in the new users forum asked about njoy's and health concerns. When I looked at the website I came across these.

NJOY Electronic Cigarettes 3 Pack from NJOY Kings

Look at the flavor options... 4.5% and 3.0% !!!!????!!!!!

What are they thinking. I thought 24mg/ml juice was strong, but 45mg/ml?!!!??!!!??? These things must kick like a horse. I'm wondering if someone could actually get seriously nic sick on these.

I don't think anyone could chain vape a bold.....

While these are actually pretty decent, as I had to buy a few when my vape mail got lost. I bought 2 "Lights" and one "Bold". They didn't say the nic % on the packaging but I bought a bold just in case the lights didn't do it for me. While I will say these things are VERY similar to smoking an actual ciggarette, they have a squishy filter, very light, decent vapor. The throat hit was very intense. Using the lights I could take a regular cig drag, no more.

The bold.... actually hurt. If I took a drag longer than 2 seconds I felt like I swallowed a cactus. It was certainly intense, and way too much for me.

Seems like a good emergency backup if the day ever comes. Are they available in gas stations or places like that?

When I first started I picked up a Njoy to try. It is the most cigarette like, IMO and "expensive". I think I paid $9 for one. It definitely had a very similar throat hit to a real .... and lasted longer than any other ciga-like I tried at the time (Blu, Krave, Metro and CCI). If I was left in a situation without any of my gear, I would buy another Njoy to get by before I'd buy any other disposable.

The positive thing about NJoy is that they've mastered the physical feel of a cigalike. These things hold in the hand just like a real cigarette - they look like one, they weigh as much as one, even the wrap they use feels like one, even the LED light looks just like a lit cigarette. I was pretty amused by it. The negative in the one I tried is the nicotine kicks like a clydesdale. It was actually horrible just how strong it was. I couldn't finish it. Someone trying it would definately be turned away, no cigarette I've ever smoked has been that harsh - not even my very first!

I thought my sample one was very good with a slight fruity taste to it. You wouldn't be able to chain it.

My battery lasted 10 minutes. For 10 bucks. Newp.

Still was the best cig a like I tried.

I like the NJoys. Definitely great in a pinch. I keep a few around for those moments when a real cig sounds like a good idea. They do remind me of smoking and I like them very much. However, at $8 a piece, these are more costly than real cigarettes, and that's a non-starter. They have their place though.

The thing about cigalikes is they have very weak batteries so you aren't going to get a lot of vapor thus you aren't going to absorb much of the nicotine thus you're going to get absolutely nothing from a 1.8% cigalike. I have Fling Minis that are 5.4% and I get a better throat hit and nic fix from 2.4% juice out of an Evod.

24 mg in my old cigalike has similar TH as 12 mg in my RBA.
Easier for me to to get nic sick chaining 8 mg RBA than 24 mg cigalike.
Cigalike liquid consumption was 1 to 2 ml day.
RBA liquid consumption is roughly 5 to 15 ml per day.
I vape a fair amount of 0 mg to avoid nic sick.

By upping nic level a low liquid capacity PV can provide a satisfactory vape for reasonable time before disposal.

I took apart an nJoy King when it died, and discovered that there was still PLENTY of juice left in it, but the paltry battery failed LONG before it was used up. If they came up with a longer life battery for these, I would buy some and keep them on hand for when I'm REALLY craving a smoke (yes, it still happens to me).

Personally, I like the nJoy Kings, outside of the lifespan and cost issues. Their flavor is the closest I have ever found to a "traditional" menthol cigarette. If I could find that exact flavor in a juice, I would be all set. It would also be AWESOME to find soft and squishy cartos that mimic their feel, as one poster said already, it feels closest to a real cigarette. If I could find the juice and cartos, I would likely add a cheapo 510 automatic cigalike to my rotation just for the feel of "smoking". I really miss the "feel" of holding a cigarette, something a VTR, MVP, eVic, Legend, or (dare I say it?) Provari will never match!
