why dont you do what i did. get a KR808 battery and then get an adapter so the atty can screw onto a KR808 battery. thats all you need. the adapter you need is kr808D to 4081... also which RN4081 do you have as there are 2 different ones.
one has 1 hole serial number on metal post and a wide wick. These are the superior ones and work great. imo
then there are the 2 hole no serial number on the metal post and thinner wick.. these are the older ones. i have never used the older ones so i can only talk about the newer ones.
Happy vaping
Ok I am a little lost Where in the world do you see the serial number part? down in the atty? I cant see nothing.??
I would also like to know where to get the KR808 to 4081
Or actually I want to use my njoy battery.. (Have no idea how to tell which one..) but want to use my Carts from my KR808.
Can ya all help me figure out what I want and have?
LOL

On the atty thing.. I got the njoy with one (atty that was included) that did not work.. yes they sent me more like a couple of different time. Only ONE of the five ever worked. but am reading you all Like them.. interesting.. still reading.. but wanted to ask this here before I forgot..
Thanks

I also have a RN4081 and like it…

It started of life as a DSE103. I was dissatisfied with the DSE103 cart capacity. Then I found out that DSE103 batteries have the same thread as RN4081. So I bought a RN4081 atty and a package of Double Cartridges. Wow, what an improvement. I like it better for carts than my 510. In fact, my RN4081 is the only thing I use with a cart anymore. I mainly do cartos on the 510.

A question, or two, I do have for you all is,

1) Does anyone know a good place to get Cartomizers for a RN4081 / DSE103 battery? I tried a package of Smokestik cartos and like them, but they are really expensive. I was thinking of trying these, they are supposed to fit a RN4081 battery, but thought I would hold off to see if anyone had a recommendation.

CL9_501 Electronic Cigarette Cartomizers, Pack of 5.-.eCigarettes | Electronic Cigarette | Our American Made Smoke Juice for eCigarettes | e-Cigarettes E Cigarettes USA eCigarette: Cloud 9 Smoking eCigarettes:

2) Has anyone ever seen a RN4081 battery to 510 atty / cartomizer adapter. I have a bunch of 510 Cartomizers and it would be nice to be able to put one on my RN4081 battery.

I agree that the RN4081 is kinda overshadowed by some of the other models out there. But a RN4081 with a double cart is hard to beat.

Thanks thebat1...

But I want to go the other way. I want to put a 510 item on a RN4081 battery.

As to double carts, they are just slightly longer than standard RN4081 carts. I can't remember where I got them but it was inside the USA. Try a google search for RN4081 "Double Cartridges" and you get sites that sell them.

Have you asked in the RN4081 forum site? Lots of RN4081 lovers and answers to be found there. We started with the RN4081 SmokeStik and stayed with them for 4 months before going with another model. They were the ones that got us into vaping so we have a lot of good thoughts on thoe little RN4081s.

trueman e-cig sells the cartos for $7.00/5pack. only in tobacco flavor and that's not very good, but the cartos are great.
not sure how trueman will be with warranty, both the 4081 batteries i got in the kit last monday are shot. have not seen an adapter for a 4081 battery, probably because the 4081 battery does not have the best reputation.

Chinese sites are kinda a Catch-22…

They are cheaper but the shipping is higher and you have to wait what seem like forever not knowing if your package was confiscated in customs. Where as US site are more expensive but it arrives without a problem. I was hoping to find a USA seller of RN4081 at a good price but might go with tueman.com

What would solve all the problems is if there was an adapter so I could use my 510 cartos on my RN4081 batteries. I have but given up on that.

I just bet there is someone with an entire shelf of them wishing he could sell them. But because the search engines aren’t picking up his site, I can’t find them. :(

I think that the new M601/602 Cartomizers will fit the RN4081. From what I understand the M601/2 batteries are compatible with the 4081. I've heard that the smokestik cartos are actually the Smoore M601 cartomizers.

Absolutely e-cigs in China sells them reasonably. I don't know of any other vendors.

Anyone know this for sure?

And are they refillable?

I checked out

*NEW* M602 Cartomiser (Disposable Atomiser + Cartridge) - 5pcs - Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarettes | E-Cigs from Smoore

Could tell if they will work or not. Unfortunately, they have a $15.00 flat rate for shipping. That would be great if I knew they worked and was purchasing a LARGE amount.

Just an update on the Smokestik cartomizers. The 3 that I refilled all seem to be taking on a very funky taste. I think the filler material inside is breaking down. I've had them for about a little over a mounth and refilled each about 4 or 5 times.

Only one way to find out for sure is to email absolutelyecigs.com (Smoore's retail site) whether smokestik carries real M601/2's. If they do, it's should be different from the 4081.

The 4081 batt threads are a little too big for the M602 cartos. I made a nicobox using 4081 batt connector and am currently test vaping the M602 carto, which is delicious and hardy, btw. I'm on the 5th day I believe. Refilling the M is as easy as with the 808's. And yes, I have the real thing (M602 carto)--I asked and got confirmation from Smoore re where I got the M602 carto.

The depth of the 4081 batt.connector is ok so the positive posts will make contact but the carto will wobble because the 4081 threads are a little too big. What I did was wrap that white thin plumber's tape a few times around the M carto and twisted it in carefully. Enough of the plumber's tape will shred to make negative contact, and you get lift off.

I'm tried the 808 and the Greencig. Those models are convenient. The Smoore M602 is convenient AND tasty, as you would expect from the maker of the M401.

Thnx for posting this. I've been wondering about the threading of the M60x family for a while now. I had heard that it matched 4081 in another post, but based on your findings it sounds like its just a little bit different. I can't imagine that cartos and the attys would be any different threading wise.

I still haven't tried any of these Smoore m60x stuff, but I'm still curious about it as I think Smoore's m40x line is pretty good for a super-mini and all of the m40x attys I've used have been pretty consistently. I've seen more variance in 510s/901s. I'm more interested in the attys than the cartos, don't really like that material burns in the cartos.

Bummer that it sounds like I'm going to have a hard time properly threading the 60x stuff on my existing batts and MODs. I wish I could get an adapter somewhere?

Well, not currently from Smoore's. I asked about them stocking adapters.

I have a cheapo tap and die set but it's all SAE and not metric. Offhand, the only place I can think of carrying metric nuts and bolts would be Japanese car parts store or NAPA and I can't think of them allowing me to go through the shelves trying to fit the male M602 carto into a nut.

Other than sacrificing an M601 or 602 battery for the cause (and that's only one mod there), the only other option right now might be to make an RCA type of connector.

The M601 atty is quite good btw. If you like the M401, I think you'll like the younger (but bigger) brother too. Tastiness is close, with the M401 still being better, maybe due to its slim size and the concentrated vape that comes from a smaller unit?

Well I only had to look at 287,321 web sites, but I found them. A USA seller than has RN4081 Blank Cartomizers for a good price. The wild thing is I had the site bookmarked all ready for something else.

Cartomizers For All Batteries

Anyway, did the ECF research on the seller, very positive, emailed him about an adapter and the cartos, got a good e-Mail 45 minutes later. Placed the order and guess what?

No Tax and Free Shipping !

They could be complete junk cartos, but for that price, and not having to wait 5 weeks from China, I’ll give them a shot. I’ll post how they seem when I get them.

will check back to see how this turns out.
btw my order from trueman in china took exactly one week to arrive. i like the cartos but the 2 batteries ordered at the same time did not last even 2 weeks. so for warranty claims domestic might be the better way to go.
