will check back to see how this turns out.
btw my order from trueman in china took exactly one week to arrive. i like the cartos but the 2 batteries ordered at the same time did not last even 2 weeks. so for warranty claims domestic might be the better way to go.

I have purchased two things from China, My RN4081 starter kit. And 3 atomizers with double cartridges. Each time it took 3 to 4 weeks to get to me and each time everything worked Perfectly. I truly believe, after reading all the posts about DOA parts, that I had Beat the average and would be Pushing my luck to buy from China again.

The cartos from wordupecig are surely from China, but at least they have no moving parts.

They could be complete junk cartos, but for that price, and not having to wait 5 weeks from China, I’ll give them a shot. I’ll post how they seem when I get them.

apparently those cartos ARE different from the ones that smokesticks sells at a premium. main difference being that insides are glued in. check burning cartos thread in technical issues forum

I have 3 4081s 1 older a tty and 2 newer ones and 3 smoking everywhere batts and 1smoke free batt the smoking everywhere batts have the hole in the center and a real short cut off and the smoke free has no hole. And a real long shut off I paid a lot for them at the mall but they gave me a lifetime warranty! And have stood buy it but I recently tried my friends joy510 with a manual batt and thought it was great so I immediately ordered a setup I'm still waiting for it but am real excited as I loved how my friends worked but aside from the high price and the quick shut off batts my 4081s have done the job.

Here's an update on the RN4081 Cartomizers I got from wordupecig.com

They arrived quickly and well packaged. They are Black with an Non-Glued hard tip. The draw out of the box is a tad light which is easily reduced by plugging one of the side holes with a sanded toothpick.

Overall I find them to be everything I want in a Cartomizer. And since they come from inside the USA and have free shipping I am diffinately going to get more of them.

I think the long search for RN4081 cartomizers is now over!

unless this is their second shipment with some problems solved, we had two members on the technical thread experience burning and glue issues

i'm starting out on RN4081 and i love it. been vaping now for a little over 2 weeks. it puts out a decent amount of vapor. the carts i'm using from the SE Gold kit last just about day but i order some e-juice so refilling them won't be a issue. i'll prolly venture out and try other model down the road, but for now this thing is a diamond in the rough.

Just build yourself a box mod and stick with it.
I started with an NPRO... got a 401, 901, 801, 510....
What am I using now, $1000.00 later? My 4081 on a Nicostick. The flavor is as good if not better than the others. The atomizers are $5.50 and they last. It doesn't leak all over the place. It just needed a manual switch and an all day battery.

I totally agree. I love the 4081 on a Nicostick and Wall Wart Mod.

where do you guys get your RN4081 atty for 5.50? and is it a old one or new one.
the old one has 2 holes no serial # on metal post and thin wick
the new one has 1 hole serial # on metal post and wider wick.
I have the 1 hole one with wider wick and it works great. its a nice strong atty. Thanks for any info.

Holding the RN4081 in your mouth hands-free is probably the ticket to a dead battery via dripping. Imagine those juices getting all nice and warm from the atty and flowing down into the pitched-down battery...

I've been dripping for a week now with mine and haven't had issues. I occasionally blow out the LED end of the batt and no juices come out.

Zoi, just wanted to ask you if you are still pleased with the performance of those cartomizers from wordupecig.

And I found two more local sources for those blank 4081. Good Prophets will have blanks by the end of this week, and Aqua Vapor will be introducing a new line of 4081s in the near future. Rob's (GP) shipping is inexpensive (first class), don't know about AV yet.

No complaints at all with the RN4081 Cartomizers from wordupecig.

In fact I'm still on my first 2. I don't use them constantly, But I have used them enough to see that they are doing well.

I have a line on a RN4081 Battery to 510 carto adapter. That would give me the ability to use 510 cartos with all my batteries, Blu, RN4081, 510 and eGo. I'm kinda keeping the RN4081 cartos as a backup if the adapter doesn't work.

With free shipping from wordupecig, it makes it an easy item to try out for yourself. I think you will be happy with them
