No "short" inhale? Is analogs superior?

Hi!

I am still on my analogs since my Tornado tank from TW haven't arrived yet. I found out that my old onetime use e-gar still had some battery in it. One thing that hit me is these LOOOOOONG inhales that you gotta take to get the vapor.

Compared with analogs, you only need one quick zip .. but with PV's - from my personal experience and from what I have seen on videos (normal 510's/expensive ones like the darwin) the inhale required is lame. I even got muscle fever in my mouth when I smoked for some weeks. I do think e-cigarettes is better on so many levels, just not this one..

- Anyone that shares my way of thinking?

Cheers. :thumb:

It depends on what your purpose is for vaping.

If we lived in a perfect reality I'd still be smoking my beloved Camel filters: but I wouldn't smell like stale smoke, wouldn't influence my kids to start smoking like I did, wouldn't be inhaling 4000+ random chemicals with every puff... etc....

I'll take the long inhale if that's how the thing works best.

Manual batteries make it quicker as do more powerful ecigs
And try cartomizers

With a manual 510 and Boge cartomizer - press button, 1 second later drag 2-3 seconds - I get plenty of vapor for me

When you press the button on manuals, is that equivalent to a "primer puff" on autos? Or do manuals just work better for shorter puffs/more vapor.

I like to take long drags, and I used to kill a cigarette in 8 drags, but I can understand most people like to take puffs.

So yeah, the advice on here is spot on...
1) Manual batteries
2) High voltage or low resistance.

The reason I don't like high voltage or low resistance is because if I don't take a short drag my juice tastes burnt.

Thanks. I will order one and give that a try to see what a short draw ecig is like.
I'm not sure you understood what I was saying.

What I am using now is NOT a short draw setup.
That is why I am using it.

If you want a short draw, you need to do what I am purposely not doing.

If you want to see what 5volt vaping feels like and not have it cost much money, MadVapes is where I bought my 5volt passthrough and it connects to a USB port or a wall USB to AC adapter. I bought the adapter too because my PC is kinda old:) It only cost about $30 for the two things and I got to try 5volt vaping:)

I find myself using different muscles when vaping my ego, compared to analogs. And having to concentrate on a slower, deeper drag.

Took about a week to get used to it.

Now it's been two weeks since I've smoked an analog. And resisting the urge isn't difficult at all.

I still have a bunch of RYO supplies in the closet, including 4 lbs. of tobacco, a bunch of tubes and a T2 rolling machine.

But then I'm a good bit older than most here and I was ready to quit and get serious about it.

That's the thing about quitting smoking. You have to want to do it. If you don't want to quit, you wont. Vaping or not.

Vaping just makes it many times easier.

Not sure I can agree with that.

There are many, many, many people on this forum that never wanted to quit.
They just found that vaping was a much better experience than smoking ever was.

I am one of them.
