I'd remind him that some of the "smells" that come from him at times aren't pleasant either.

My husband, who is a lifelong nonsmoker, barely tolerated my analog smoking. Since 3 months ago, my daughter and I have been vaping and neither of us has had an analog since then. He is very happy about that, BUT has started to complain about certain smells

Well, at least he gave it a try. Or you could take the view "there's no pleasing some people"

I vape unflavored and really like it. I order the supplies (nic in a pg base at whatever mg...PG and VG and use one of the online calculators to measure how much of what to add to a container. It's easy and cheap :D If you're interested, PM me and I'll be glad to help you.

If his lips are turning blue then this is a bit more than just not being able to please someone.. it's a health issue and I'm sure it's not pleasant for him. If you vape unflavored around him and he doesn't have a reaction then you'll know it's the flavoring. You'll just have to do a process of elimination. My Mom can't stand many perfumes and lotion smells, while her reaction to them isn't as extreme has your husband, she starts sneezing and gets congested too.
vaping outside is better than not vaping at all and certainly better than smoking cigarettes!

Hey, don't feel bad, mine is a smoker who STILL complains about all kinds of smells including my vaping. He is not allergic, just sensitive, which is pretty hilarious considering he is 6'2", 250, bald, and about as delicate looking as a gorilla. I have one flavor I DIY that mimics a Ludens honey licorice menthol cough drop that I love, and he hates it. I won't say what he compares it to, but it ain't perdy! LOL. Since he likes to be a real buster at times, I make sure always to have some in reserve just especially for those times when I really "need" it! LOL!!!! Hey, he wants to crush my cookies, I have to return the favor, right? LOL. Imagine, we've been together for 41 years! Scary!
