Noob question on thinning VG

Hi all

DIY noob here. Looking at trying unflavored juice on a 100% VG base. If I needed to thin it out to the consistency of something like 20PG/80VG, would I use distilled water at the same amounts of PG? Or would it be less? If so, how much less?

That's up to your personal taste and atty. I'm vaping 100% Unflavored VG atm but it's pretty thick. I've read people use anywhere from 5-20% DW to thin 100% VG out. I'm going to start at 5% because it's easier too add more than to try and take some out

I'm lucky to have very pure tap water, so that's what I use. I add about 10%, check the consistence, and add a bit more if necessary. It's easy and works for me.

I made a nic base using 80%VG, 10% distilled water, 10% saline. It wicked beautifully, but there was no sweetness or flavor.

Start at 6% DW and if it still has wicking issues increase at 1% increments.

Adding 5% distilled water to a 30/70 mix seemed to thin it out quite a bit (to the point that I'm gonna leave it "as is") --it flows fine in my Nova-S BDC
