What day is it
KGo is a good next step. Get the ones with the cartos.

Another similar unit that costs about the same is the e-Power. They come in 2 sizes, a 14650 and 18650 version.
The thing about these is that they use regular lithium batteries, so when the battery wears out you just replace it for $5 or so instead of having to replace the whole unit. They also have a replaceable switch. I think the 14650 size is built a little nicer but the 18650 can last most people a whole day or two.

Either one of these, the kGo or e-Power, is an excellent upgrade to the little ciggy looking things you've been using. Hoosierecigsupply and Sweet-vapes.com are both good vendors that should have them for less than $50.

If you go with some kind of e-go or Riva.... If you want to get the tank, get a pack of cartomizers. The tank can be tricky the first day or a week in so cartomizers are a good back-up if you can't get into the tank. A bonus to tank starters is the batteries do tend to be bigger. If they don't come with an atomizer in the starter kit you should get one for testing juice.

1000MAH batteries last about 10-12 hours

Standard small e-go battery is about 800MAH and lasts 6-9 hours.

Then you have the juice part... Try to fan yourself out with companies when you buy samples. It'll help with getting an idea of vendors you like, who sends samples who doesn't. Plenty of vendors registered here on ECF to check out.

welcome to ECF! I am currently taking the "next step" as well. Smokeless Image just recently came out with the new X2 batteries, you can get them in 650, 900 or 1000 mAh. and they are also passthrough's as well. you get a battery and usb cable with it. I am getting ready to buy 2 of the 650 mAh batteries and a few of their new clearomizers. I have heard great things about them.

EGO comes "standard" as 650mah, though you can choose upgrade options up to 1000mah i believe (longer battery life). KGO comes "standard" as 1100mah. I believe the EGO's voltage is around 3.3v, whereas the KGO is 3.7v. Both use the 510 threading, so parts are interchangeable for the most part. I'm not sure on the size of the 1000mah EGO, but from what i've seen, the KGO's are bit longer, which i assume is due to the 1100mah capacity. EGO's often offer a passthrough capability, but i've yet to see a KGO with passthrough option.

I asked this question about 30 days ago and went with the Riva ( same as KGO ) 1100mah kit. I wanted the max amount of longevity on the battery and the 1100 mah hasnt dissappointed. One charged batt lasts me all day of vaping and into the next. Im not too much of a dripping fan cause Im constantly on the go / on the road so I also purchased the Vision Clearomizers. The Vision Clearomizers sit perfectly on the Riva and at 2.4 ish ohms they vape very well.. No leaking or fiddling around with anything ! I fill 2 Visions in the morning and Im set. Its been the perfect setup for me. Of course I do keep extra juice in the console !

Check out the Riva kit at Nhaler.com Grab yourself some of their High Octane juices too !
