Richmond, Va...Right in Altria's back yard.
Wont happen unless they find a brand of ecigs made specifically for jails. ..........with all soft parts instead of metal.

Too easy to take one apart then file it down into a knife or shiv.

I think someone was actually trying to develop one just like this and for this very purpose a year or so ago although I never heard what if anything came of it.

Don't have any specifics, only going by what I read on the news site. More importantly, what does this mean in the bigger scheme of things. That part of the system realizes that there is a benefit to e-cigs, and that the harm and danger is less than from combustible tobacco products. Hearing this story kind of gave me a shot of hope, realizing that there are folks in the system, who get it.

That is totally amazing and brilliant. Thanks for posting. Now if we could just get the dimwits in psychiatric hospitals to pay attention to what happens to stressed out, confined persons in acute crisis when you also restrict cigarettes to occasional "breaks" in a corner of the grounds... there, the ensuing anxiety and freak-out gets added to the diagnosis. I fought that during my internship and it was like talking to robots.
