Mr Flapp - This vg is cheaper than ordering online. Walmart has it, it is under the bandaids (usually). The Walmart people won't know what vegetable glycerine is but they should know they have glycerine.

I have used this VG, just my honest opinion here, it isnt as good as some others I have purchased or the one I use, just saying, and VG is all I use mostly in my juices and I can tell the difference.

On the fair price thing, if we can make a 30ml bottle for lets say between $3 & $4 wouldn't $8-$9 be a nice round # not for nothing but I just cant believe people are paying $25-$30 for 30ml's of juice to a certain vendor , that's almost insane.

There was one juice I wanted to try but it was over $20 for a 30 ml bottle. I will just look for a similar recipe, does not have to be exact.

Thanks for the VG info, I will try to compare the Walmart vs the High Desert I have. I am using mostly VG also, usually 70-80%.

Well I did it, I ordered enough nic juice and pg/vg to make 625 ml, and the 30nic coupon code at myfreedomsmokes worked. I also ordered assorted flavorings, mostly tobaccos. I havent really liked any other flavors I have tried except tobaccos. I plan on mixing in extremely small quanities of each of the flavors and dripping in to a clean atty to feel for the taste of them and see what will mix well. I am really looking forward to tinkering thanks muddy, for giving me the push I needed to get over the premix hump!

I finally figured out how to ask a question that I wanted the answer to.

What is the optimal strength nic juice that will give you the most options? And in which mixture? I guess what I am saying is there a mix with either PG or VG and in a nic strength that would give one the most options in terms of mixture percentages?

Does this question make sense? It barely does to me.

IMO.....100MG 50/50......Clean, organized work surface and wear gloves if yer feelin' shakey. 100 50/50 makes your math calculations a bit easier also.

My isues arnt so much with the cost. Allow that is a factor. My main issue is when you do find a juice you like it dosent always tatse the same or sometimes not even similar to what you had before from the same vendors. I do have a few vendors I like and are well known and have a rep for quality. But its the same thing with them occasinally. You get a batch of bunk juice that is unvapeable. And Il vape almost any juices. While I dont know if Im gonna give up on all pre-mades yet. Id like to free my dependence on venders juices with options of my own.

Yeah..thats the part i hate too. I was addicted to Juicy vapor cola...but the last 2 i have gotten taste nothing like they used too..so i moved on.

Well put my friend. I was in the beginning buying tailor made juices and of the few I found I liked they were ok. I ventured into DIY and now can't stand the taste of tailor made juice. It all tastes chemically and or perfumery to me. So I have found my ultimate all day juice that hits the spot for me. I don't tend to try anything else anymore as I was with analogs I had my brand and that was my brand. So why would I want to change juices all the time. My vapinf is a replacement for analogs not I repeat not a quit smoking program just an alternative. Good luck to everyone beginning DIY

I can only speak for myself, but a year ago I hadn't yet spent way too much money at numerous juice vendor sites only to be disappointed way more often than I was pleased with what I bought. When I originally posted my rant, I never expected it would strike a chord with so many other vapers here, but the discussion and information shared has been most interesting.

I wish I had seen your post a year ago and heeded your wisdom. I'm kinda thick and have to learn a lot of lessons the hard way.

I think vendor start ups are with good intentions but....... $$$ happens. They start out buying top notch pg and vg, source 99.95% pure nic and mix under clean conditions. Then they start making money and the orders pile up and maybe get sick or wife starts .....ing that the profit is to low. Now comes the lower quality 98.5% nic and farm grade pg vg and slapping the juice together the day it is ordered to cover the shipment and we are told it has a new born on date to ensure freshness but in reality they don't want to mix the .... early and steep it on there shelf becaue "what if it doesn't sell and I mix and doesn't sell". Then because they are in a hurry to get home from real job and get the .... mixed before the post office closes we get stuck with a poorly made unsteeped pile of poo.

I literally could go onand on.... who knows maybe I will lmao

Ive been DIY for almost a Year now, initially because I hated all the juices I bought, and I was tired of making both the Post office and vendors rich. Now I'm surprised at how little it costs me to vape DIY in comparision to bought juices....Not only can you make your own but you can tweak any Frankenjuice you have on hand and make it vapeable, more money saved!
Amazing as to how a juice described as, perhaps, "Sun ripened Peaches bathed in custard"( or whatever ) too often tastes like old socks boiled in dishwashing water instead.

I've gotten the best flavors from juicyvapor.com (ecto plasma is amazing) and ahlusion.us. I *highly* recommend ahlusion... extracts a lot of his own flavors, prices are decent, and they actually answer feedback emails. Keep in mind not every juice they make is awesome, but out of all of the vendors I have tried, they both have a higher percentage of "hey this is GOOD" juices vs getting one or two you like and the rest go into the junk drawer.

Don't you wish you had all the money back that you spent when you first started vaping...I've got boxes of crappy e-juice, I say to myself ....maybe when I get desperate.... but not sure I'll ever be "that desperate"

Just got rid of about 20 samples from my reject pile - offered them to New Vapors on that forum. Had three takers and I don't even mind the $10 postage to send them. I remember how much I spent the first few months trying to find the dream juice.
