EDIT: This reminds me of Tuesdays when I played WoW. It was understood every Tuesday was maintenance day. Didn't matter, Tuesdays the servers go down. And every Tuesday the General Forums would be flooded with people whining, "Why, Blizzard?!" "Blizzard SUX" etc. But it was understood from the get-go. And yet still people complained.

In fact that is true in any online gaming. These days the forums shut down for much of the maintenance. How dare Blizzard ruin the fun of picking on the fools! Bonus fool points if you are complaining because the servers are not up a 1 PM Eastern time and they are not scheduled to come back up until 1 PM Pacific Time.

True - I don't raid except for LFR, and my vape gets used a lot dealing with the personalities in there and around the game. I gave up on the forums years ago, I only go by places like MMO champion for news and info, like the recent ban wave. Gotta love those. I used to go by the support forum whenever a ban wave went down, to laugh at all the cheaters trying to pretend to be adults and threatening to sue, and other dire consequences.

I'm a bit bored with WoW at the moment, I log on to go beat up old raids with my Lock for transmog once a week, 7 characters to 330 iLevel was enough, I'll wait for the next expansion, I'll probably kill my sub next month. I finally got a copy of Fallout 3, and am having a blast getting killed by fire ants at the moment. Yeah, it's an old game, but who cares? I may finally get around to Skyrim too.

PvP is pointless right now, it's a stun-fest. Run two steps - wait for stun to fade - run two steps - wait for stun to fade...bleah. It might be a little better now, because the ban wave was over a specific bot that spell reflected automatically, but I really don't enjoy it now - I pvp'ed through most of BC and half of wrath on my rogue and lock pvping, and loved it to death - and yes, it's VERY intense, when it's good. You know you're playing a rogue right when someone comes to your server and makes a toon just to whisper mean things at you. I used to lock runners and healers down HARD in BGs - if there were any other rogues in the group, I'd form psyops teams to go harass the other side as much as possible. It was a completely different game back then, now, a lot of it just isn't possible. If you're a rogue, and the opposing team isn't hunting you down or freaking out that you're in their BG, you fail. I get MEAN on my rogue, completely unlike how I am in person, it's hilarious.

I run mostly healers and hunters. Either are high on the opposing teams kill list. I just want to do the rep grind and finish the holidays meta (just lacking the PvP parts now). I don't handle mean well so I doubt I will last long but part of me just has to try.

Not everyone wants to diy. It's a epidemic every juice post has to have "that guy" oh just diy it's 1000 times better. While that may be or may not be the case some people don't want to diy or others have no safe way of keeping nic juice and what not away from the lil ones. And finally Yea it's cheaper but it's not a route everyone wants to take

I get where you are coming from. It's kind of like when people force their PV or RBA on you. But having said that if all those guys always stayed in their forum I would not have discovered DIY and just how awesome it is.
