So - I had been pretty certain if I spent any more money on vaping devices I would end up in the dog house. I came to this conclusion because the last time I bought some evods and a little extra liquid nic for storing up incase of vape-a-geddon I got the, "I thought this was going to be cheaper than smoking??? This is the last box for a long time, riiiggghtt??"

Well, I think that the vaping fairies must have snuck in early yesterday morning and sprinkled some of that fairy dust stuff around my house! While researching and pining over mods came "whatcha looking at", when I said VV/VW mods I was really expecting something along the lines of.... "you aren't buying anything are you?" Instead however, it was these glorious words..."isn't there a store in town where you can go get one so that we don't have to pay for shipping and you don't have to wait for it to get here?"....I made record time getting out of the house folks, record time!!! And a couple hours later, I come home with. Drum roll please......A shiny new VAMO and a ProTank!!! I think it is important to be on record as saying - I have the best partner in the whole wide world!!!!

Went to a local B&M shop (The Ciggy Shack - for all you Austinites) and purchased a Vamo and ProTank. Duayne is just awesome - if you are an Austinite - you should check em out.

I am glad I went to the shop where I could actually see/touch and play with the devices - I had been leery about the size. Using the 18350 battery, it is really not as big as it looks in pictures on the internet. Fits nicely in hand - I wouldn't call it stealth - but no longer than a 900-1100 mah spinner. I actually like the slightly more substantial feel and if you are going to use a ProTank (which ROCKS) it is a little top heavy on an ego.

When I had gone to a VV from regular ego battery I thought, vaping just doesn't get any better. Well, let me say - it does! Holy cow, nice vape from this thing!! VW + ProTank = Flavor Dance x's 2. :rickroll::rickroll:

Congrats on the new gear and the great partner. Mine dog houses me. Ive learned its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission though. Plus honestly and bash me if you will but since im the bread winner if all our bills are paid and i have extra money i get something if i want it. But and heres the important part i think. I also dont care if i have extra money and she wants something then she gets it.

No bashing...valid - and like you said, the important thing is that you both get things you want/like. Cycling and vaping are my "mad money" spends...hers are purses and shoes (which often times are more expensive). Now if you said - "I am the bread winner and should spend on what I want AND she gets upset cause I don't let her get things she wants"...well then I might I bashed. ;)

Why would anyone bash this? Pay your bills, maybe save a few nickels, and get whatever the hell you want. Life is too short to do otherwise. Vape on!

I live in Harker Heights/Killeen, about 45 minutes North of Austin, and always chuckle to myself when people call themselves 'Austinites".

I love my Vamo, but it stays home. 18650 mode has been dubbed the "lightsaber" at work. 18350 mode is acceptable, barely, when I have my Vivi Nova on it, it is still pretty large.

Luckily my gal never seems to mind my purchases.

Way to go Gal, your lady seems to be wonderfully special. You are lucky to have a partner that encourages you. woot woot!!!! I have to sneak around hahahahaha but it's worth it. When it comes in he just rolls his eyes and doesn't say anything.

Thanks Sexy! I'd think he would be really supportive - it sounds like your health has greatly improved since you've been vaping!

Hey GetVaked - I don't know where it came from, but it sorta sticks. My Uncle and his family used to like in Harker Heights when he was stationed at Fort Hood. We used to be at the lake out there all the time.
