Most of the time the Radius heal easier than any of the wrist bones, if I'm not mistaken. Not that at her age, any bone will heal very fast. I broke my Navicular (sp?, it's the biggest bone in the wrist) skateboarding in the '70s and it never healed. It has hurt ever since. I went to the Dr a couple of years ago and he wanted to remove the bone. I told him I'm using that bone  He said that's what is causing the pain and when I couldn't put up with any more, he'd take it out.

Radius and ulna are the two forearm bones bones...Ask me how I know!!! If memory serves correct the radius is the bigger bone...Likely cracked it at the joint...

I broke my wrist years back while settling the score...Pretty sure it was the same bone Wharf broke but mine was on the outside...Now it pokes out and sometimes hurts like Hades...Now instead of punching I just use a stick...

First tire washed had a nail thru the side wall...It's scrap...Second had a 1/2 inch cut that I originally thought qualified it as scrap but later I couldn't find it...Third was a winner...I have two in excellent shape and three not so much love for them...Got the valve on the compressor and it sounds better...Jury is still out on that one..Trust it was cold.....spitting rain....wind howling and there I am....hose and scrub brush in hand...I came in at dark and took a nice long hot shower...Hopefully the guy who originally sold the tires will handle his junk....I called him prior too purchase and he said no problem...Still his last ad was posted on thanksgiving and he hasn't gotten a shipment of tires yet...I'll be seeing my new man Charles tomorrow....Hoping we can get this tire deal rolling on...Money....might as well just burn it..

Hey Bov, so sorry to hear about Katie breaking a bone in her forearm. She is so very lucky to have you there to look out for her. Please remind her not to go out on the steps when there is ice or do things that may facilitate a fall. Statistics say that 1 in 3 elderly people will fall and break a hip this year. Most of them will not recover.

My biggest fear with my mom is that she will take a tumble. Remind her daily if you have to. It really is that important. I do hope that she recovers quickly and that she truly appreciates having you there to look out for her. :)

Does your DSL go through a modem and then to your computer? If so, unplug your modem from the power, wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in to reboot it. Then reboot your computer, and see if that helps :)

Did that like 100 times already. Phone co.is sending me a new DSL/router box
