We got our driveway culvert final replacement done today. My wallet is lighter, but it's a one time activity; the old culvert lasted 40 Years, and this new one was done better.
It's 70 degrees and cloudy here. Expecting rain.

We had a cold front usher in cool temps and cloudy skies two days back....That grass seed I planted weeks back has turned into a full fledged lawn and got it's first cut yesterday....Had to put off a body shop customer until I finished the septic work....been slaving on his truck and should have that back to him Monday...Gonna be real selective on any work in the near future....meaning if it pays big I'm in...Old neighbor who told me he'd pay if I cleared a tree from his yard a couple years back and then didn't pay????? Hired a local landscaper to trim about 100 feet of azaleas down to 6 inches....trust a Hella job....neighbor kept talking....landscaper quit with job @ 20 %.....I've been asked....It's cash up front and double the price else those limbs can rot where they lay....Spike had a tooth not looking so good....Had issue with nightmares after a trip to his old Vet at PetSmart....Done with that he's got an appointment this afternoon at a tried and true local Vet...Gonna get vaccinations up to date and set an appointment to get a couple of teeth pulled...So bottom line....still moving at light speed and trying my damnedest to get things caught up some.....I should have my .... kicked for delaying the Vet visit
Well it's almost 2am so good morning too Ya'll.......
Whirlwind again today...Worked in the shop and took Spike for his vet appointment....Spike managed to get the muzzle after the Vet dug a syringe all up in his neck....Vet Tech was called in and she hit the vein with no issue...Muzzle on 11.2 lbs....they would've sheet the bed had that been Chopper or BB....Vet had a cancellation so Spike has to be there at 7:45am....Yeah Boy....Getting teeth cleaned and at least 2 pulled....Yeah Old Dad is a little on the nervous side....

Hoping for smooth sailing, El Dee! Our 11 yo Aussie, Sidney, just had a few stitches removed yesterday, is a happy pooch.
It looks like we lucked out for weather during checkout dives this weekend. Water temp is brisk, around 60, but that's what the wetsuits are for. Surface conditions look nice, a bit cloudy (less sunburn) and low 70s. With a group of 10 students (and a 2nd divemaster assisting - I can do 10 students with one DM, but two makes sense, since conditions are never perfect) it'll be a busy weekend, but also a lot of fun

Yesterday was Sapphires 3rd bday. The little brat nipped my knee as I was going out to water plants in what better have been an accidental nip! It caught my attention REAL QUICK and 908 dropped that watering can and spun around at her with all kinds of authority. In the cage she went and now knows that kind of bs will not be tolerated around here!
She HATES when we leave the house and tries to shove herself out the door with us when we go, barking furiously of course. I believe she caught me mid bark....but I’m watching closely let me tell ya! Aggression will not fly in my house. No way!
Today is beautiful here and I am planning to enjoy the pool some (for the first time this season, mind you) with Maddie. Summer 2018 has officially begun! (School ended here yesterday)

Spike is up at the Vet's and I'm hawking the telephone....Doubt Sapphire meant to nip you 908...Hope not anyway....Spike gets behind me and touches his nose too my calf when he's begging to go along....You gotta be firm and let them know who's in charge...Trust I'll be glad when this Vet visit is over...Hoping Spike can keep the rest of his teeth...
