Dee... I'll take an earth quake (or as I say "God's Rollercoaster") over a dang Tornado any time.

WELP... I have a date, May 2nd. Haven't talked to Doc yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm getting a stent. The mid right coronary artery has 2 to 5 times more blockage than any other artery. Hopefully they can just use the ballon to take care of it.

I’m so glad you have a date set now Wharf. You know you’re in our thoughts and prayers. <3

Tornadoes and earthquakes?!?? Aw heck no! Guess I’ll grumble about winter some more to avoid all that. Haha

ElDee bo just finished doing a bunch of what you described doing with toilet when he remodeled our small bathroom. That’s how he hurt his neck and shoulder. Wrenching on things while laying on his back in the little crawl space below. Be careful! Two chiropractor appointments and it’s still bothering him, although not as bad as it was prior to chiropractor. He’s stubborn though and won’t go back. “I gave him enough money, blah blah blah”

It’s winter here today/tonight. Yuck! Hey, I said I’ll still complain!

Tornadoes, yep not fun! But definitely part of living in the south and mid west. They don't stop scaring the sheet outa ya, no matter how many you've seen! Went thru one when I was 14 that nearly wiped my home town off the map.

Hearts are with you, Wharf! Happy that you finally have a date

Settin' With the Oldies" I love it

I gotta dig a hole and plant a pole for my clothesline today. Hardest part will be wagging that 50lb bag of Quickrete outa my trunk. I swear 50lbs weighs more now than it did a few years ago

Good luck Wharf !!!!!!

That toilet flange was a stumbling block....Left knee has been giving issues now diagnosed as arthritis....Left hip now giving issues when I sleep on my usual left side....I suspect the BP meds contribute too the hip....Finally strained my lower right back when working on the Cub mower....Today knee is better, hip feels OK and back is almost healed....Gonna try and wash my Dodge and get the little trailer greased so I can deliver the mower too the beach.....maybe change the Dodge's oil....It never ends but light duty for a few days.....

Work's keeping me busy this week, though thankfully I shouldn't have another round of weekend work.

Next time someone notices a nicotine sale, give me a shout. I figure something should be going on for either memorial day or July 4, though I've got enough through at least year end.

Looking forward to doing gutters at camp, stop dripping from messing up the deck staining. 32' of it will be trivial, since the trim is just over 8' above deck height. The last 8' is where stairs go down to the pad, a bit tougher access. I'm thinking maybe do the deck part as one section, downspout dropping between the stair railing and porch, then have the part parallel to the stairs come in to the other end of the downspout section of gutter. That'll keep the pita section of gutter short, with the main part fully assembled and riveted on the deck.

I also have to finish putting the new wheels on the boat. I got the first one in Saturday, worked out the actual how-to-do, other 3 will go fairly fast though I have to slide the plates with reg number a couple inches aft since the new posts are 4x6 instead of 4x4.

We did pick up the old evinrude 4.5hp outboard, it ran beautifully on a barrel check. The guy came down another $100, I'm quite happy with the price. This'll give enough oomph to explore the southern end of the lake, where diving should be better [emoji3]

Wishing this front would move on by. The humidity is like a wet blanket outside

Yep. That is one thing about living in the south and surrounded by so much water where I am. It is like getting slapped in the face with a wet, hot towel every morning when we walk out the door.

One of the aspects of living on the coast that I did not miss while living in the upstate near the mountains. Hopefully you will acclimate to these humidity levels quickly.

Got to take my birds to the vet. Be back later to catch up.

Hope everyone here has a great day.

I had my grandson for the first part of the week during his spring break. Then had to be up at dawn to take birds to vet in rush hour traffic. Yeah, my not so very fond memories of living in the congested city all came rushing back while sitting on the interstate at a dead stand still for an hour and 15 minutes. Note to self: no more early morning appts downtown Charleston whether they are fasting or not!

Got a call from my bil (was married 36 years to middle sister that passed away) he is having some what I think may be serious health issues. I talked him into going to the er. They didn’t find anything but did tell him to get an endo and colonoscopy done. Sooner the better. Praying it is nothing too serious.

I was on the edge of my seat all night waiting for his call. My sister and I are the only family he really has left.

Going to get some sleep
Now before I start rambling on lol

Have a good night all.

Here's hoping BiL is OK !!!

Spent the day yesterday using the oscillating tool to trim glued OSB from the floor joists....that was real fun right there now...got everything cleaned....staples, nails, glue and rotten wood all a memory....Framing the floor joists with the cripple studs to support the new joints in the sub-floor has begun...that's gonna be another day or so as they gotta be doubled and it's below the floor making for a lot of up and down...good exercise but not easy....While doing all that watched the news from home that featured the weather all afternoon with tornado warnings out the ying yang....Back home now and there are some limbs down along with water standing in the yard....Spotty damage here and there but all my stuff is OK so far....Now if the weather would calm down just a shade that would be fine by me.....

Thanks, guys. Still no answers for bil. He can barely even eat. Good news is that they do have one excellent gi doc up there. He did my moms colon cancer surgery and I love that man. Bil has an appt to see him on Wednesday.

Darn Easter Sales! I have unsubscribed from most vendors to keep me from buying vape gear. Except for the ones that I buy flavoring from. Could not resist the bcf 15% sale. Only because I have a store credit from a mistake that they made last order. I have so many flavors that I really need to get rid of a bunch. Oh well.
