PI I couldn't agree more but that goes far beyond cops. Vendors, attys, ever walk of life. There are some damn good cops that catvh heat for what the bad ones have done. Some become cops to push people around, some toget what they can from anybodt and everybody, and some that truly care and want to help. The last group are great people and it's too bad there aren't more of them.

5C, the last group aren't necessarily great people. They're the rank and file, and they're just people.
It's civil service they got into: decent pay—not great. Pretty good retirement benefits. Most live their lives, see a movie now and again, eat at McDonald's, go to church on Sunday, then die.
In the interim, they, on a daily basis, put their lives in peril.
Don't get me wrong: lots of them take advantage of their position to, in their pathetic view, better themselves.

It was a very pleasant 46 here and a great deal of snow has gone. The roofs are clear. Warm spell is over and we go down to 14 tonight.
It was in the upper 50s here, Fran. Hard to believe that it's December, but I'll gladly take it.

I went down too the beach Sunday morning to try and get that insulation and vapor barrier under my trailer....Beat too death...drain pipe too the side of the head ....***STARS***...stabbed in the rear of my left arm a shade above the elbow by a screw holding the underpinning...Head is OK but sensitive...elbow is fekked up...Open the access...assume the crawling position....over the main sewer and wedge under a 12 inch steel I-beam with six foot too another I beam...add in a beam holding the I-beams square and all the plumbing and HVAC...10,000 ways to die I tell you...The damn spiders left after my first trip under there and never did return....The good news is the door is shut and hopefully for a good long while...All done by the El Dee code...High and Tight!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally caught the tree trimmer as well...Seems the break in was for her Xanax....She never did lay blame on old rehab veteran daughter...whom I might add is still absent from the home...Pretty sure old tree trimmer knows where I'm coming from...Sometimes you gotta call a spade a spade....Just so many people knew the Xanax were present there after all...Desperate IMO...

Am I the only one here who, whenever I read one of El Dee's posts, is amazed at his sheer energy?
I'm not sure how old he is. If his avi is any indication, he's a Southern Rocker in his 20s, but I doubt that's the case.My guesstimate is that he's in the middle-age vicinity—which is what makes his pluck all the more incredible.

I hate going to the Dr! Psoriasis suspicion confirmed, and the ear infection likely caused by it in that ear. Antibiotics for a week, along with an antibiotic/cortisone ear drop 4 times a day. At least I love my Dr
It also means that the arthritis is probably psoriatic arthritis, and will need to be watched more closely for progression. I expect a Rheumatologist in my future.

The psoriasis thing is nasty, Bov. I get it on my elbows sometimes.
The treatment is a drug that inhibits your own immune system. So what's up with that? My body thinks something is wrong at my elbows? Hey, look, body: if you'd just knock off with the hyperactive elbow skin production, I'd stop wearing long-sleeve shirts.
