You know, it was so nice to see El Dee again. I've had him on my mind all morning.

And the reason is this.

Back more years ago than I care to remember, I read an article discussing the similarities between a good mechanic and a good doctor.

The article stated that a good mechanic had to be far more intelligent than a good doctor.

The reasoning behind their logic was that a doctor just has a limited number of body parts and organs that he has to know about.

A good mechanic on the other hand has hundreds, maybe thousands, of parts he has to know about and like the doctor, know how to fix them and make them all work again.

I've never forgotten that article and continue have a great respect for good mechanics!

It seems they seldom get the recognition they deserve.

LOL, well Wuzz, I can't believe you left this floater get by you without any comment!!

"LOL, and I just LOVE to watch them pull up their skirt and make fresh tortillas on their lap.

That's more fun than watching ol' hairy Bigfoot on television!"

I caught it. Just a little slow on a comeback lol. One of those rare moments when I had something else on my mind. My Bride is actually expecting me to get something accomplished today. Got some shopping to do also since my rockin chair money came in yesterday.

Daggone, I smell nice.

I wish you guys were here to smell me.

What kind of rocking chair will you get? A wooden porch rocker?

Well now.....I was up until 4:30 keeping watch on the farm during the storm....Lots of people in my area without power...Lots of snow everywhere...I'm really happy to say all I have is mud...

Imitation Mexican food, a "66 Econoline Van and my old friend Pedro...First a little about Pedro...I'm 6"3' so I'd say Pedro was @ 6"6'..Rather tall for a Mexican...he was rather muscular as well...an imposing figure...After a stint in Vietnam he wound up in Fayetteville just outside Ft. Bragg...With a little cart he began selling Mexican food out front of Rick's Lounge on Hay Street downtown...Rick's was a little more than famous...Pedro went from that little cart too 4 restaurents in town...Pedro never left the house unless he was dressed too the nines....always a black suit like the Mariachis wear...Always his food was 110% authentic...I worked up the street at the Ford stealership and drove a sweet little Ford Van...So one day at lunch the regular crew jumped in the van and we went down too Pedro's...There was a parking lot out back of the dumpsters that was completely surrounded with huge Red Tip bushes and that stinky old dumpster...We were backed in and well hidden while having a Cheech and Chong moment before lunch...Suddenly I'm face to face with Pedro...I was sure lunch was gonna turn too jail but old Pedro smiled and asked if he could get in...This ended up with me carrying a Brass Pedro's token...He never let me pay again and should I be at one of the other three places he owned the token insured my food was great and free...He was a great guy to say the least...I saw him last at that same restaurent at his retirement celebration...He went back home to enjoy the last of his days and years later the local paper gave him a full page obituary....He hated imitation Mexican Food....

Doctors bury their mistakes....I'm stuck with mine...The only respect we're given is when the car isn't running right....Really we don't seek respect but a good hidden parking spot out back of the Mexican joint we do seek...

My dear Aunt Edna....she's the one who just celebrated 65 years of marriage last week...yesterday she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma....I ain't sure how I feel about that but it ain't good...

My crack smoking cousin's birthday is today...He's 54....one year and 20 days behind me...Last week he slipped on the ice and broke his arm between the elbow and shoulder...last year he broke his wrist and ended up with a halo and pins for a while....I hate to say he asked for all that....Karma can be a beech...His surgery is today....Not really worried about that as I still owe him an azz whoopin...

That KSM should be here any minute !!!

Being the road is clear and I scheduled an off couple of days it's adventure time....Good vapes and smiles to everyone....Dee

Well got my KSM, the orings sure are purdy. First thoughts, it's kind of like taking your first sip of beer, if you can remember what that was like. Turned it down to 16w and all but closed the air off, this probably isn't for me but I'll keep an open mind and give it a little time.

Mine's here!!
Both the i-Stick and the KSM!!
(I just lurves the red/hot pink/magenta/fuschia color of the Stick my Pink Sistahs!)

The O-rings are sure...O-rings, lol! Gotta go, just sayin'...

Started with the .5Ω, I'm all the way up to 12.6w--working my way up sloooooooooooooooowly. May not be much further than that on this juice. Yeah, yeah I know it says for 15W to 30W—I am not much one for being told what to do.

I prefer a tighter draw, Moon, and one air hole is not too bad. Found out that I can move the adjustment ring to cover it half-way up (or however much) and even though it doesn't lock in place, it stays put. And I've switched out the DT for a SuperT (standard shape, no idea what it's called). I much prefer it to the wide mouth that it came with.

More later and catching up, too!

But right now?

Got a new toy, gotta play!!!!

(and do some other not-so-fun routine kinda stuff, too)

Here’s a deal that I’m sure will sell out with the quickness. VaporKings just placed the Kanger Sub Tank O-rings in stock and ready to ship in 4 different colorways: black, blue, purple & white. And not only that. They have it priced at just $0.95! That’s easily the cheapest I’ve seen this priced at. And that’s not even mentioning that there isn’t very many US vendors who have the Kanger Sub Tank O-rings actually in stock. Like I said… better act on this deal with the quickness. Personally… I’m digging the black colorway myself. Gives the Sub Tank a seriously stealthy look.

Kanger SubTank O-rings

I agree about the Red, pinkish, raspberry iSticks. I have several that color in the 20s :D

Darn. I feared it may be a bit too airy for you. I leave the hole half way open as i mentioned the other day and it works well for me. Maybe you could try Bov's masking tape trick?

When i read TT's post about doctors and mechanics, I was thinking the same thing. Mechanics can afford to make mistakes. Docs in many cases can not.

So sorry to hear about your aunt :( DH had an uncle that passed away from Non - Hodgkins Lymphoma. (((Hugs)))

Darnit! I missed those dang orings.....only white left. Maybe I'll grab those bc Pokey and I seem to have very similar taste. If she says hers need to go, I just know I will feel the same! (((hugs)))Pokey!!! Even though white doesn't usually trip my trigger for things like this, it'd probably be better than the red/pink combo I am envisioning.

ElDee, I enjoyed your story very much. The part about Pedro wanting in on your cheech and chong moment made me laugh out loud at work!!!

I used to take my Grammy to some of her Dr's appointments when I could to give my Dad and Aunt a break. She LOVED going to the doctors!!! She would never duck out like you guys have described. I think she loved getting out of the house and having somewhere to go. (Grammy never had a license to drive) The more doctors appointments, the happier she was. That's why I needed to help, she was wearing out my Dad and Aunt with them all. :)

Wuzz, Rock on Buddy!!! Enjoy it! :)

TT, I loved your story about mechanics and doctors. It's very true.

ElDee, on that note, I appreciate mechanics more than you know!!! I'm a "turn-the-key-and-go" kind of girl so I appreciate all the know how of you mechanics and rely on the good ones for advice and help. Lord knows, I'm no help!

Lord Davon? Yes I remember him. Salem please say hello for me and congratulate him on his family as well. :)

No KSM in my mail today.../sniff! Moon says all yall can send him your red o rings tho

Dee, loved the story about Pedro, and TT's story about mechanics. So true that you guys don't get enough respect! And I'm sorry to hear about Aunt Edna.

Gonna wait on ordering the o rings myself. I have no doubt that I'll hate the red ones, but I want to see which heads I like best first. I'm not into paying shipping for a .95 item when I can wait and order heads at the same time. I expect that most places selling the KSM will start getting the o rings in now that Kanger has them on their site. Thank you again Salem...you always find the best deals!

Pokey, for the 2nd time today I'll say...there's no rule stating that you must vape at high wattage ;)

Raspberry!!! That's the color...

Thanks for all the o-ring links...I am thinking black, complimentary to the stripe, classy—yes, black.
(This minute, anyhow :) )

Darn tootin', Bov. Veni, vidi, vici and all that—I've tried it, it's an option, it's not for this particular juice, it may not be for me...
But I am diggin' the warmth and flavor from the tank, gotta say.
Coffee juice is up next—but not tonight. Too much vaping going on around heah!

Very sad to hear yours didn't come today :( I am looking forward to hearing your opinions on it...

The kits come with an extra set of red o-rings. Moon is going to be rolling in rings!!
